He was so strange in his stance and style.  I remember being perplexed by his sasquatch-style kinda hunched over stance.

Saw that his son found him in his bathtub dead.

Terrible. I remember him taking the reigns in Philly and going on a tear for a bit there. Condolences to his family and friends.

They keep using a picture of him while with the Kings. His mask had three layers of foam at the forehead. Wow!

Also he was king of throat guards...

Always thought he was interesting in that he used his Flyers colored sticks for a while after he joined the Kings. He had all new gear and a mask painted - but kept using his Flyers sticks. Of all the gear you can change easily, sticks are the easiest.

Obviously he didn't GAF.

He was traded in mid-May 2003. Wasn't like it was trade deadline move. He did eventually move to silver lettered twigs...
