Rubbing on Heels of Repaired Skates

I have a pair of Bauer Elite skates that I bought about 2 years ago. I have replaced the stock blades earlier this year with Bladetech runners. I really love the skates, but unfortunately there were holes in the liner on the inside of both the left and right boots. A local hockey shop repaired the holes with helmet foam, but I found out that the skates ripped the skin on my heels when I played with them. I tried putting bandages on my heels to prevent the skates from ripping my skin again, but it didn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem, or do I need to bite the bullet and get new skates?

I'll put up photos of the area when I get home.
