I always take two masks to the rink (outdoor roller or Ice) and this happened to me one day. Helmet broke off a hard shot, and I tried to get refs attention after a whistle. He skates away. I skate off the rink and find the commish, and show hom the helmet is broken. I skate to my car about 50 yards away. Before I get back, I have been assesed a delay of game penalty. I argue that it's bullshit and I get a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Two penalties and on the following penalty kill a guy runs me and I push him off, I get thrown out for my third. Moral of the story, my league is a piece of shit (Miami Roller Hockey), and the refs are scumbags. In the future you better believe I'm going to hold the game up and look for the screw for 30 mins if I have to.

No that's ok. It gives me a little bit of insight as to what to expect from pad manufacturers. I saw Vaughn has a pink option but I can't tell how pink or light pink it is. Comparing Jimmy Howards Breast Cancer Awareness sets doesn't help. He had one with hot pink, and another with light pink.

It just means you'll be getting all the emails they send back and forth too. Think of it as reading someones text messages over their shoulder and you can reply yourself if you want to.

Hey fellas, Looking at getting pink pads made. Would really like a super hot pink, not the faded / baby girl pink. Would match a few of my teams jerseys and be super distinctive. What companies have pink? I saw JRZ has "Techno Pink" which is robo weave but their blockers have bindings on it and not really a fan of "robo weave". Really wanted Warriors but pink isn't an option. Don't want to try bauer as I've seen what their pads do over time. Ideally I'd like to have ordered Warriors with a double external break and a toe bridge like their g4's have. I love their strapping system and want to replicate that if I can as it works for me both on the Ice and Roller. Only thing that changes for me is the skates. Any suggestions?

Been trying to find a video, does anyone have one of the Warrior wheeled goalie bag? Been thinking of grabbing it for a while and I wanted to see the handles area and the bag overall. All I see is a picture of a opened bag empty lol.

Does Passau make the belly flap extenders for other manufactuers? I wouldn't mind swapping my Warrior stock extentions with longer passaus.

I believe the NHL owns the rights to the defunct teams, and licenses the current teams to use them. Or that might be the NBA.

For what it's worth, arent both designed off the Colorado State flag? If they had similar stripe patterns I'd understand.

I mean, at what point is it adding details for the sake of adding details. Take for instance this mask. Did he really need to shoehorn in all the little flames C' logos and the "Calgary Flames" into the stripe? Nevermind his 3D paint tech, hologram FX, Atmos Metalic FX, Holospehere FX, Glow Tech FX, XXFX GLitter FX and so on. Its a great mask, that didnt need the extra logos hidden all over the mask, or the gimmicks associated with the names. I mean, for christ sake, what ever happened to Candy Paint and Glow in the dark.

Daveart is a terrible artist and I don't think I've liked any of his designs, no matter how many fancy made up technical terms he throws at his posts. Dear god are his masks terrible.

Hi guys, what companies are out there to vinyl wrap a goalie mask, or does anyone have any suggestions as far as wrapping a single color. I have two masks I'd like to get done. The first is a batman mask that would have photos on it, the second mask is a deadpool head/ john vanbiesbrouck panthers style mask. I currently have them both wrapped, and I did them myself but I feel like I did a bad job and would like something more professional anyway. I am hesitant to spend $300 for a better looking application though. Thanks in advance!

Curious, does protechsport make a Mage like mask? The one with the long cage / combo look? I've been looking for one at a decent price for a few years and I feel like it's time to give in and just go custom. His pricing and style kind of intrigue me.
