    What @BadAngle41 is saying though is we haven’t seen that in like 3 years. At first yes, this stuff was happening too often but now, I haven’t seen that on ultrasonic or hyperlite. Even 2x limited these issues quite a bit. But hey, I get it, if Bauer isn’t your thing, at least you know what you want.

    One lightest pads on the market External breaks have been getting less popular for years. Crawford had none, Smith has none, Tokarski who wears a pad style of your apparent era has no outer breaks either. Bauer has evolved the gear industry in a way like none other over the past 10 to 15 years. Evolution is good for the game.

    Any tips on flying with gear? I’ve never done it before and I don’t want my stuff getting lost or broken on the way. Lots of people recommend stick bags but I’m bringing more than two sticks. Also my pads do not fit in my bag so I have to figure that out too. ANY TIPS WELCOME!!!!

    3m tape would usually be sticky, because it’s tape? Not sure how that would cause sliding.
