  1. I'd say the price is comparable to beefed up custom units from Bauer.
  2. Here's a little side by side comparison of the older ccm ab18 pro chesty and the new ccm prospect chesty. I purchased this yesterday at work so now I can talk about it. The units weight is almost identical. The floaters in the new unit are not as segmented and are stiffer, they also seem thicker. I'll get measurements when I can today. The abdomen seems similar but the new unit has the air mesh from the ef6 which I hope gives better breathability and cooling. The backplate is a soft perforated foam and is lite and flexible . And the arms are almost identical to the older unit. They did however tie in the elbow cup to the cuff strap.
  3. Well now that it's officially in my possession after a day of poor financial decisions. It was $750 USD. I'll be doing a side by side with the older pro spec ab18 when I get home.
  4. It's weird seeing them list the maxcore as a x-stiff core compared to the new core. But the xf is a single internal/no outer break pad. I haven't seen any in person so I'm just speculating at this point.
  5. New axis core will be infinite rebound stock.
  6. I'm staring at 3 of these units at the moment . One may or may not be coming home with me.
  7. That I am not certain of at the moment. I'm hoping they will be available as id love some custom xf pros
  8. And just like that. It's back to axis 2 and ef6 customizer on ccm's site.
  9. Finally got it to open on chrome. Narrowed it down to 2 designs. Now to decide if I want to go simple or bold.
  10. Customizers won't load past the select product screen on my desktop, but work fine on my phone.. weird.
  11. CCM site is updated with the axis xf stuff in the custom area. But link is dead end till Fridays launch.
  12. It was an okay unit. Quite comfortable once it's broken in. My only issue was the arms. Had quite a few baseball sized bruises from shots. Belly protection is good though.
  13. I haven't. Just gonna leave them. New set of Digi print ef6's should be in in a few weeks.
  14. Silver weave on both pads.
  15. More than likely no, true doesn't like to do alterations. But have the retailer you want to order through reach out to their true rep and ask. We had a custom want a very specific embroidery done in the back of the pad. We reached out to true and they accepted the additional embroidery, but said they had to outsource it to a local embroiderer. No extra charge to the custom as well.
  16. Interesting. Seems like I'm the only one having shit sliding in trues. But that could just be a personal issue with weight distribution. My ef6 slid way better than my trues.
  17. The all out customizer is the same as the regular customizer with less areas to select colors due to print areas being done by the rendering by ccm after the order is placed through a dealer.
  18. Don't you put that voodoo on me Ricky Bobby.
  19. The only curves listed for custom are p1 and p4.
  20. They are in the catalog so fingers crossed.
  21. They are fairly similar and different at the same time depending on how you specd the build on the trues. But stock vs custom should be vastly different than my custom vs custom build. Now I'll have to compare them vs my new ef6's when they come in.
  22. Finally got around to trying it and it worked really well. Kept my hand secure and let me have rull ROM. My only gripe is if I pull the fronts to tight it pulls the strap forward and digs into my thumb.
