As a fellow white truck enthusiast I'll plus one this. White looks good, looks fairly clean even when its fairly dirty, can be one of the cheaper paints for repairs if need be... and for me personally was the color of choice of my gramps so I'm keeping the tradition alive.

I was kind of being sarcastic with the Captain America/Man-Bat nod (NOT being sarcastic in saying sweet lid). Figured there had to be more to the story - thanks for sharing the backstory. Looks good with the unis. Agreed that the white one is far and away the best of the bunch. For whatever reason the middle/blue one reminds me of some of the mid-90's NHL atrocities: Islanders fish sticks guy, leaping mighty duck, etc. Same vibe at least (but still pulling it off better than those).

How great would that be if Flower ends up in Colorado, knocks Vegas out of the playoffs and wins The Cup? Granted - his salary is likely prohibitive after the Landeskog signing (and I'm no Avalanche fan) but it seems like there should be some justice for a classless move by Vegas against a fairly universally thought to be classy Flower.

@seagoal I hope the signing of Grubs doesn't send you on a tailspin - how you feeling about it? Seems they should have been set with Driedger/Vanecek but I'm no NHL GM. Somebody's got to get moved at this point - right?

Recent history-wise and Osgood/Howard aside - Detroit really doesn't have a stellar record of developing homegrown tender prospects. Historically they are more of a comb the free agent/trade market for a body team. Besides - not much you can do when Filip Larsson totally bombs and/or Petruzzelli doesn't sign. Also think its better to have your goalie come in on the tail end of the rebuild effort. That way his confidence isn't crushed when he's playing as the team is bottomed out.

For the record - I like everything about the Nedeljkovic trade: in/out, term, dollars. Kudos to Stevie. Even if he's terrible - keeping in the bottom tier of wins/losses will continue to stockpile higher draft picks.

McMaster Carr is a place to find an assortment of "foams". Guess it boils down to what pieces you are trying to replace - more rigid pieces or those of the cushy variety? There are certainly others that are more knowledgeable on the subject. I don't get into tearing apart gloves personally. Good luck.

At the end of the day - so long as your yard is perfectly manicured (I'm talking lining it up properly, edging, etc.) it doesn't matter how you got it done. For the record - the Gravely is probably overkill for my acre but we're gear nut goalies - that's what we do.

Shoutout to my pops who put me through over a decade mowing little old ladies' lawns when I was a wee lad and stoked my appreciation for a well manicured lawn (and Tim Allen).
