    Warrior sizing

Hey guys, Thank you for the responses. @cwarnar the chart helps immensely especially seeing there are absolutely no 36" Warrior pads to be found in town or within 2 hours drive. @ULTIMA it is always my plan to try on the equipment prior to purchase but apparently no one wants to stock anything in the size I will likely need. Though your information definitely helps should I need to look into the used route.
  2. Hey guys, Just had a quick question on the sizing for Warrior pads. I am currently in Vaughn V3's that are 36+2" but they seem to be shrinking. Especially in the boot region. I tried on a pair of Warrior RGT2's today and was amazed at the feel. Unfortunately the only size they had on hand was 35+1.5". I felt like they fit me fairly well but the only thing was I felt that my knee was sitting a little higher than it should on the landing block. Am I correct in my assumption that the knee should be centered in the landing block or would I be okay with my knee closer to the edge. When I tried them on I was in my jeans and shoes so no skates to tie them down or strap to my skate. If I did either of these that would draw the pad down and make my knee come out of the cradle. I am planning to see if I can find another set of Warrior pads to try on to see if a 36" would fit me better. I have not measured my floor/ankle to knee measurements in a while and can't remember what they are. If I needed to I could provide those measurements to make sure I am looking for the right size for my legs. Thanks for any help you can provide. Also tried on the gloves and was definitely impressed.
  3. No, actually I have a first gen Passau I purchased used over the summer.
  4. I usually pack my bag in a specific order as I am tall and my gear just fits in the bag. I pack pads with shins facing the sides of the bag, then mask with glove on top and blocker beside at handle end. Next are my skates down at the foot of my pads. My Maltese collar and Underarmour shirt go between the pads as well as my water bottle. Then my pants with my under clothes and jerseys go inside the pants. Finally my chest protector goes in and I zip everything up. I keep my replacement supplies and shower sandals with my toiletries bag in the large side pocket of my bag.
  5. Over the summer I purchased a used Chest and Arm. I love this thing! it feels like it was made just for me even though I know it wasn't. The rib padding has seen better days but the padding is still staying in so I am not complaining. It looks like the arms were replaced with new ones though I am not sure if they are first or second generation. Though I believe the seller stated that the chest was first generation and the arms were second generation. After experiencing a used and well worn Passau I will definitely consider a new one when the time comes.
  6. @TheGoalNet My gear is currently in town and I am away from it. However I looked up online and found it on the Under Armour web site. Unfortunately, it looks like they are no longer making them. Under Armour Gameday Padded Goalie Long Sleeve Shirt I also ordered one of these to try but won't get it until the new year. Shock Skin Hockey Impact Goalie Shirt
  7. C/A: Passau Pants: Vaughn Ventus VT90 How do I wear it? Pants tight, suspenders, C/A tucked with pant laces through c/a loop. Any issues? Right rib pad comes out of pants from time to time. Not much else.
  8. I am still wearing mostly the same gear I have been for the last few years. Over the summer I purchased a used Passau Chest pad which has been amazing. Still trying to break in my Vaughn skates but have not gotten them feeling right yet. I have also added an Under Armour Padded shirt to my bag which was a gift from my wife.
