With all due respect to them, if there was even one injury involving, do you think we'd hear about it? Let's be real about it.

I dunno....heard more than a handful of guys in cowling-less skates getting hurt and/or feeling discomfort. The idea and technology is still new, I think I'm gonna wait on improvements on later generations of that skate. For someone like me who's had a broken foot, I can't gamble that way.

Eddy Shultz started, owned and operated Eddy Mask. I knew him pretty good when I was till working in hockey. There really is lots of space for another mask maker. Especially if you're gonna do certified masks.

Somewhat off topic but I think they would do well to introduce their own mask. Dunno what Eddy Shultz is up to these days but I think it'd be worth to at least have a conversation with him about building them a mask.

Does anyone know if BStar offers a creme color on their color swatch for regular retail customers?

I don't think they're teasing with anything specific. Just giving us SOMETHING. I really hope they pick up and NHL goalie for the new gear.

To be fair, the G3 is a near perfect pad. So I can't expect much more.

No one I'v met in the industry has a positive Marlene Ross story or experience. She seemed very "lost" on the phone with when I talked to her.

If those ridges with a simple new graphic are all that separates the G3 from the G4, I think I just might wait for the G5. Haha

Ordered a Ritual G3 set in mid August and it's still not here. Apparently they're "behind" on assembly. Already missed 4 games at the start of my season for not having the gear so I bit the bullet and got a stock red set. This gear is fantastic. Can never have too many sets I tell ya...

Sir, re-read some of the above comments. On the internet or not, calling any woman a "twat" is pretty offensive. That's just one man's opinion, I'm not going to ask for it to get removed. But it's obvious that this kind of talk is fueled by the dislike in what I had to share so I won't post any pictures further in this thread. Unless plain and boring white masks are what people want to continue to see. Furthermore If this kind of talk is acceptable, I think I am in the wrong place.

I don't particularly feel the need to justify the reasoning as to what I choose to have painted on a mask or what colors I get in my gear etc. Having owned more Protechsport masks than most (if not everybody) in this group, I feel my need to contribute. Furthermore I'd like to see this website thrive and the bottom line is the only way for that to happen is if we get more people posting. Well so far my posts in this thread are met with criticism. I do not expect many to agree with my paint choices. Perhaps I was naive in thinking there would be more positive feedback with regards to the actual artwork quality on the best goalie mask out there instead of the subject matter. That is how you discourage others from joining the website, this discussion and wanting to participate in this community. In light of Montreal winning consecutive games for the first time this season, I was in a good mood and was going to post more pictures of my masks but there seems to be no positive reaction to my collection thusfar. I'll leave it to you guys.

Good question but I do believe they do everyone's cages including those guys.

I'll always be a fan of their brand but I really don't know how much longer they can keep themselves in the game.

Dislike Bauer but that chest/arm dating back to the Supreme One95 is unbeatable.
