picked up an aegis interceptor pro-g neck guard as well at pure hockey. here’s my ecoprofoam for size comparison... i think it’s fair to say i’ll be getting more overall coverage with the aegis edit: tbf the eco i got was an xs, probably a factor

Probably gonna pull the trigger on some custom v9 pads soon... looking for an upgrade and i know more of what specifications i want on my pads now.

sadly sherwood has no plans to make full right sticks in stock as of now so i pulled the trigger on the RV1 Pro stick.. shaved the paddle and cut down the shaft a tad as i usually do with my sticks, just have to tape it and see how it goes

Quite frankly, ccm has innovated just as much if not less than vaughn, but don't get half the shit vaughn gets for not being innovative. i might get bagged on by the ccm lovers here.

got rid of the previous padwrap on these pads as it kept peeling off and it didn’t really fit with my gloves. went away from the original ve8 colorways, ended up with something a bit unique. it wasn’t done perfectly but i’m mostly happy with it

technically not an action photo but... here’s the penalty that was called on me a game ago. apparently the ref didn’t like that i dug the puck out of my net after a goal and swept it away so he had to skate farther to get it... he then also lied to my coach by saying he had warned me before, NEWS FLASH, he didn’t. on top of that, after every goal they made me get the puck out of the net instead of them usually getting it, which they do most of the time.. so naturally that was my response

pretty sure they knew it was used with my SLR. it was also thoroughly cleaned. i’m not sure how i got my money back with that though. you ask them lol.

i’ve used it like twice so it’s barely used.. i’m returning the all black one. i bought an slr from goaliesplus and used it twice then dad returned it and got all my money back. i’m actually surprised they can do that lol

they’re lighter than my pro v elites, but i don’t really notice the weight between the two when playing.. also got my pads from goaliesplus so it included the quickslide and it’s amazing.

Senn and Blackwood switched to vaughn, but both wear ccm gloves.

i understand the disappointment with the pads, but i actually love the strapping and the quickslide is an added bonus. it is pro though and there’s been some slight wear but nothing too bad. i’m really excited about the v9 pads though and the chesty... just as i get v8 pads and a v8 chesty..

honestly, i wouldn’t get ccm even if my life depended on it. except for their skates of course, which i own, and their sticks are pretty good

as long as i haven’t used it too much and it gets cleaned then yes.. i don’t know if everyone does this tho

for sure. i tried a pro carbon SLR and i couldn’t get used to it. i liked the chesty but just not for my playing style. i had someone at monkeysports tell me i should try and go for the slr. personally i think you should go with what has good protection but also is what you prefer.
