    looks like his newer spec (2 calf straps vs 3) like what he wore in the swirl last year, so probably the same as that in a throwback graphic to his 2012s

    Is that going to be legal? IIRC warrior had to add a bump or something to their pads for NHL use because a totally flat boot was against the rules

    God i hope so. My #1 complaint on pads is the floppy knee block.

    Update: Sticks arrived today, just shy of 8 weeks. Waiting on pads and gloves currently, Saturday will mark 8 weeks.

    My guy told me both parts of my order have the same ship date, for the time being.

    CCM EF4 set and sticks ordered 4/29, expected to ship this week. CCM seems to be at 8ish weeks

    its a local (here in northern NJ) shop thats going out of business, trying to clear out inventory. lots of weird niche stuff but occasional good stuff. got a new player cage for 8$

    is the an option for added length on pro-laces? i bought stock ones from my store and they're rather tight on my 1 piece skates.

    True, I should have specified that its not set in stone like the actual rule, but It is noticeable slimmer and less bulky than the 1S. I like this direction of c/a's. I hate a bulky chest piece.

    From what I have heard the 2S is NHL legal next year. holding the 2S pants in store it was a crazy departure from what is “old spec”

    Supposedly its to protect the inner ankle from abrasion, as the tongues, depending on your metatarsal shape, will not sit straight in the skates (mine do the same thing).
