    When your team shits the bed, and loses 5-0 to the last place team, all they can really do is sheepishly give you the Player of the Game hat, I guess.     Picked up a new stick at a good price yesterday- and funny thing, despite it not being a glove, it also has a break angle (more on that later; heading out to the rink to coach my kid’s team)

    Isn’t “the break angle” the excuse you use to justify buying new gear in situations where finances are shared…? For example: Me: “Honey, I need to buy a new glove; I think there’s a break in the plastic in my old one…” Wife: ”Oh - it broke? So that’s your angle this time - not ‘it will match better’…? Different angle, but same answer - NO!” FWIW, I don’t know the break angle on my glove either.

    Oh, man… I’m only 5 minutes in, but this is amazing! Billy Smith looks like he’s ready to slash the kid in front of him. Funny him saying that playing video games is good for the eyes/hand eye coordination. I mean, he’s not wrong, if you’re into the VR visual training that’s available nowadays.

Miss that guy, hope he’s enjoying life.

    So ratio, you say…? As in, dividing your rep points by the number of posts…? Minimum 1,000 posts…? I’m sitting at about a 0.705. “Site owner” @coopaloop1234 is at… oh, look at that: 0.565. Well, that’s pretty good too, sport! I guess that supports his contention that he mostly shit-posts.

    So not me - but I promise you, many beers were consumed, thereby satisfying the “beer league” requirement implied by the thread title… My son’s team that I coach rolled into Pierrefonds this weekend for a CAN/AM tournament, and went 3-0 on their way to knocking off home team Barons in an exciting 2-1 final. And as a huge bonus, my son scored the gold medal game winner! Tons of fun!
