Ive found the opposite. I find ice much harder on pads etc

When you look at the g4/gt2 pads the seam between the face and the sliding surface is perfect.
Most of the g5 im seeing on here and on Instagram all have really crap seams, un even, and just not as crisp as the earlier stuff
Warrior deffo dropped the ball here

Ah well ive had 2 custom brians sets and they they were messed up too, those were full on custom top dollar, as were the badly sewn custom brians pants...
So i guess im just unlucky. The warrior stuff is the first snr level gear ive ever worn
People dismiss inline like its a lower level, when in reality it can be a harder game and much higher level than most ice.

1 hour ago, Puckstopper said:Dude, you bought non-pro intermediate gear. It's not that expensive and it wasn't nearly as big a deal as you made it out to be! People who do stuff like returning multiple sets of gear over tiny cosmetic blemishes are a part of the reason gear IS so pricey.
As far as Quad's custom pro set goes: The break is in the same spot, the one pad has just broken in more. It happens during shipping. My GT2s were the same way and within a couple weeks of use they were dead on even. More disappointing is the fact that the graphic at the knee doesn't appear to line up. That's something I'd be bummed about for sure, but I'm honestly not sure how I'd handle the situation.
Thats absolute balls,
they dont work in the cost of people sending stuff back, i never had any issues with g4 or gt gear? just g5 and not just me, there more and more popping up
point being it should never be sent out, not fcuk it will do, bad attitude to have imo.
sorry i dont earn as much as you ffs still over a £1000 = $1300 usd, its enough when its not right,
give it a few months when all the seams are failing on sets, then come back.....

i sent two sets of pads back,
one set had crap seams, and wavy lines
the replacement set had a twisted core,
could i have lived with them, yes should i have to no!!
when gear is so expensive it should be right

Thats what gives the glove the coverage plus
It pushes the glove out more
The practice palms only come when you buy a new insert
-
Id hazard with it still having the profile lock it will be very g4 snr ish. The int pads i got were soft.
-
So if you look at trav4 vids or the new hrca vid the gr was a super soft thigh
You could bend it back on itself.
Try that with a gt and the top of the pad folds to the top of the knee roll not the whole thigh rise
-
Personally thing they add a higher break
-
Thats what got spouted
They used last yr pro internals as the new snr internal. But that could be bs for sure
There ment to be stiffer for sure
But the g4 was soft.
The g5 all be it int were soft esp when compared to a bauer 3s int that was like a surfboard
-
Well
I only got to try int 32+1 pads but they were as soft as g4
It was my understanding that they tend to use the previous yrs internals in the snr stuff,
Id go pro if you want them to last.

yeah i found this out, after the fact. not from hm or warrior(who have been silent in all this) but from a friend, in all the gear ive had ive never seen them
the pads were int sized the gloves were all snr sized.
i found the g5 tighter on my hand than the g4 for sure, easier to close too.
not sure i noticed the angle change

spoke to the hm rep last night via facebook,
he said that the warrior rep had seen this in a few sets from demo and once there used they reshape,
one thing to note though being int pads there deffo not as stiff as id imagine, which isnt bad for me as i dont mind, there no where near as stiff as the 3sint
-
Warrior G5

Yeah int again,
Theres a big jump though as theres no stock of snr 32+1.5 there all 33+1.5

Nah not having that, like saying you buy a new bmw but mite have to fit the bumper yourself cos its mass produced.
Its a bad batch that should never have left warrior.
I know my way round pads, ive taken them apart enough times, that wont bend back. Ive had close to 20 sets in my life not once had that.
Just think its a bit crap there sending products like that out at all
