hi all, as some of you know, im in the uk and as such we cant really try much on, first thing how much have skate prices gone up !! secondly im in a 9 bauer 1s, how does this translate to fit in other brands like ccm, true? im inline so there are also akalia skates and tour pre made with chassis thanks in advance jake

I have g5 and i like you dont like the knee to calf, what i do though is take the stock knee wing off, then get a piece of sticky back velcro - fold this ove on itself on to a piece of cord, i use paracord then i lace this tab into the pad, where the stock one goes, what this does is allow a tight knee, but no digging in from the knee wing, i then have the lower calf strap loose and just a toe tie, note i dont use the webbing clip strap on the knee. ill try and get pics tonight

The old ccm/leferve stuff took a long time to catch up to the rest of the bunch, esp in terms of weight I too had stuff made wrong from brians, twice infact. Actually 3 times If were talking about price, in the uk if i was to walk in a store to get a full set, helmet, skates etc it would cost £5,300 thats bauer
