  1. @keeperton the problem is sizing... im 5'9 -5'10 i have an atk of 16.5 and a ftk of 18.5 back when i bought my velo 2 i was in a 36" pad, i then had a pair of brians gnetik2 they were 34" i then got a pair of warrior g4 they were 33" im now in a pair of warrior gt 32+1.5" my legs haven't changed any modern sizing is all over the shop,
  2. you know you get short adults too......
  3. Intermediate gear has come along way The bauer 3s int were very nice, stiff but nice I had 2 bad int sets from warrior in the g5 though. And went very soft after only a few handfuls of bends
  4. @benner33 Thats what gives the glove the coverage plus It pushes the glove out more The practice palms only come when you buy a new insert
  5. Id hazard with it still having the profile lock it will be very g4 snr ish. The int pads i got were soft.
  6. So if you look at trav4 vids or the new hrca vid the gr was a super soft thigh You could bend it back on itself. Try that with a gt and the top of the pad folds to the top of the knee roll not the whole thigh rise
  7. Personally thing they add a higher break
  8. Thats what got spouted They used last yr pro internals as the new snr internal. But that could be bs for sure There ment to be stiffer for sure But the g4 was soft. The g5 all be it int were soft esp when compared to a bauer 3s int that was like a surfboard
  9. Haha cheers I didnt update this The bauer went back, if you want a stiff tight chanel pad they would be perfect. I got a 2nd set of the g5 and the pads were twisted and tbh very g4 soft In the end i got white g5 gloves to keep with my gt pads Shame really as warrior shit the bed on that.
  10. Well I only got to try int 32+1 pads but they were as soft as g4 It was my understanding that they tend to use the previous yrs internals in the snr stuff, Id go pro if you want them to last.

    Warrior G5

yeah i found this out, after the fact. not from hm or warrior(who have been silent in all this) but from a friend, in all the gear ive had ive never seen them the pads were int sized the gloves were all snr sized. i found the g5 tighter on my hand than the g4 for sure, easier to close too. not sure i noticed the angle change

    Warrior G5

So i ended up sending the second set of warrior back, and ordered a white glove from the uk. Oh look no hole in the tee Also g4 vs g5

spoke to the hm rep last night via facebook, he said that the warrior rep had seen this in a few sets from demo and once there used they reshape, one thing to note though being int pads there deffo not as stiff as id imagine, which isnt bad for me as i dont mind, there no where near as stiff as the 3sint

Yeah int again, Theres a big jump though as theres no stock of snr 32+1.5 there all 33+1.5

Nah not having that, like saying you buy a new bmw but mite have to fit the bumper yourself cos its mass produced. Its a bad batch that should never have left warrior. I know my way round pads, ive taken them apart enough times, that wont bend back. Ive had close to 20 sets in my life not once had that. Just think its a bit crap there sending products like that out at all

    Warrior G5

    And the thigh rise

    Warrior G5

So my new set have come in from hockey monkey and im fuming. Warrior are truely turning out some shite Can those with g5 catchers see if you have this hole ? The right pad is warped on this set, whole pad is twisted.
  20. tbf ccm products havent changed since 1999
  21. Ive been in a pair of 1s converted for in line, nearly 3yrs old played on once sometimes twice a week and they still look nearly new. I had my foot tracing for a vh skate as it was back then and so glad i opted for bauer. The other thing was if i didnt get on with then a bauer would sell better than a vh
  22. People often criticise inline till they play it. Theres alot of skilled players, and the release is very quick I find ice alot easier. Visually

They are int 32+1 pads, there was also a hole in the tee of the snr glove though. Even still being int makes no difference it wasnt right This is also an int pad
