Seems reasonable to me, no arguments so far.

#68 I was just trying to buy my partner a tshirt and they had these at the shop. Goddammit. I'm done. Back to Montreal.

#59 - #64 Made out like a bandit in Montreal. These 4 came from an awesome hockey souvenir shop near the Bell Center: -Quebec Nordiques -NHL -Vintage Hockey Canada - Oringinal 6 These 2 came from the Bell Center -Montreal Canadiens -Montreal 24 Stanley Cup Championships, which is just so perfectly gaudy and tacky, haha. Love it. My trip to Ontario is tomorrow where, finally, I will get my Toronto Maple Leafs puck. Then it's only 5 NHL teams left.

He must have gotten a good knee jolt into the ice on that shot.

Right The over-rotation itself was worth posting though, haha.

Holy over-rotation! Sorry if this is not a current image, but it was posted in an article today on nhl.com which I posted in the chit-chat thread

I heard on NHL radio today that Ottawa has signed Craig Anderson to a one day contract so he can retire as a Senator. Good move, well-deserved.

Goes with all teams!

As someone who has toggled between a Bauer and Sportmask in the same week, the strapping setups definitely feel different. The way the backplates feel with the pressure points from the straps is different between the brands. Just throwing that out there for you. Have you noticed the difference? Either one feels naturally better for you? Also, are you looking at certified cages or cateye cages? If the latter, Bauer cateyes and Sportmask cateyes have very different center vertical bars that sit in your field of vision very differently. Just throwing that out there too as a difference to consider.

Fleury doing Fleury things https://x.com/Sportsnet/status/1714449253404123435?s=20 And fittingly he gets a standing ovation and 1st Star in what is perhaps his last game in Montreal. https://youtu.be/hBUjnjtkfkA?si=nX7ToKzFwMsM-xnW

I had to growing up in the south. It was roller or nothing before university for me.

Been playing for roughly....30 years now and I am pretty sure I had my first ever short-handed 3 on 1 last night on the Silvertips rink. This was the last of our divisional seeding games and these guys are one letter above us, 4a to our 4b. They seemed potentially low 3 to me, clearly a step or 2 above my team and enough for me to never feel relaxed. I felt like they were within reach for sure, but kinda left me feeling uncalibrated to their level, so to speak. Anyway, we have a PP in their zone. Turnover.....gone. Shorthanded 3 on 1 up ice, they gain the zone, puck carrier on my left, to the face off dot, pass to center high slot, pass to halfway between dot and crease to my right, one timer slam dunk, I push, slide, played it perfectly, but just too slow. Puck hit me under my skate and in, couldn't get to that right post quick enough. First shot of the game, in. So I think "ok, here we go. They are toying with us." Ended up 5-2 L, not terrible. 4th for sure did not go in as it hit the outside of the post and between my calves in the crease, so really 4-2 but oh well. One goal I didn't track well from a shot from their D as they were cycling on a PP, but otherwise did ok. No shame in losing a close game to a better team. I definitely do not think these guys belong with us, wherever we end up. We played another 4a team last week and lost 3-2 but we could have won that game easily and those guys and us should be together. Good times and onward.

Markstrom's helmet with painted straps and design elements on the cage. This dude always has great style on his lids.
