  1. Kelly green is like the stars green you guys have. Forest green is more like Minnesota green
  2. He's making up for my lack of color this time around @Hockey34 those all look sick but make sure it's Kelly green not forest green
  3. In some cases I'd argue European leagues such as the SHL and NL love the sport more and have to put up with more advertisements. It's not as much about making money there as it is getting more people in the door to watch games and play the sport
  4. You have to lift your chin a little bit to look to the backdoor but nothing terrible especially when already in your stance
  5. @nyislesfan @RichMan Had no issue with my Pro+ other than it was maybe a size big for me and heavy. No mask interference, super flexible especially for the size, and minimal rebounds off the body. The weight just comes with having a proper pro level chest. Ccms pro spec chest (2018 and 2024 models) are both just about the same weight as my X3 Pro+. Jerseys can be difficult depending on brand. Adidas is for sure a no go without restricted mobility I have switched to Mach since it's much lighter and more flexible than the pro+ while maintaining a lot of that same size. Protection isn't as good as Pro+ but still good
  6. Yours is already better than the one I tried! Tee closure especially is much better
  7. Strictly trying on. The flat fingers do worry me a little but it's on par with bauer off the shelf
  8. Closure is different feeling but this is quite possibly the first actual game ready ccm I've ever put on. Completely forgot that it only had a pinky and index loop and not actual stalls
  9. Just felt one today and if it's anything close to that you're in for a treat
  10. Ccm measures from the bottom of the shoulder not the top. So while the bottom of the shoulders is 22 or 22.5, the top is still a 26ish so it's used more like a 24 or 24.5. It's the same situation with my saros sticks, they're labeled as 24 but I had to buy 25s to get the same overall shoulder height (and then trim the shoulders to match the saros stick)
  11. 26" at the top of the shoulders, 22" at the bottom. Your average stick has about a 1" difference for the slope of the shoulders. The shoulders on Bob's stick are 4x that. Being able to hold the stick this way means his blocker presents much more upright to the shooter
  12. Wedgewood back in one piece skates, still using bauer glove and blocker but with a nice subtle matching glove graphic. Looks like someone just copy pasted the blocker graphic to the glove though. You can see the "stitch lines" are the exact same as the blocker lol

    Vaughn SLR 4

Oddly enough they appear they should size the same as warrior and ccm and true but they do still fit bigger
  14. Pretty sure Dave is just in a full on 581. Did you mean skinner?
  15. Second skate with the glove today. I can catch consistently with it! It funnels decently and is already giving my coworkers PX3 590 strong competition (his words not mine). It's far from my favorite glove out there but with a softer closure and getting rid of the ridiculous ridge in the palm it very well could be. That said I could definitely use an intermediate palm to help it feel more snug and I still prefer my G6.1. 591 is a little similar to G6.0 in that it doesn't exactly feel like a glove compared to G6.1 and other brands' offerings. More like a mitt
  16. Here goes nothing And I mean nothing. Doesnt feel any better than it did before so I'll just keep using it to break it in
  17. Slowly but surely... VID_113430814_063447_419.mp4 Still yet to add an index finger stall or make a larger pinky finger stall
  18. Will do. I'll throw it in the skate oven tomorrow and try to work the glove til it's cold again then tie it shut
  19. At the rate it's breaking in it should be about 1-2 weeks before it's truly game ready. I'll still use it whenever I can until then I'll be following a mixture break in methods, mainly TGN's (alternating opening and closing the glove every 24 hours as well as working the glove in by hand)
  20. Nothing complex just a sewn in loop for now. I'll make it adjustable on the 2in version. I also trimmed a piece of lace on the backhand to allow me to close it fully without restriction. Not sure why ccm didn't do that instead of opting for the hideous thing they did to skinner and Markstrom's gloves. It also allows the backhand to open fully as shown in the pictures. Thumb angle still isn't great but it feels like the thumb funnels well though the fingers don't. It's a hard piece to photograph so hopefully that pic gets the idea across
  21. As of yesterday I bought and used an Axis 2 glove to see how much work it needs to be a usable glove. They're on a ridiculous levels of discount right now so I figured might as well. Before even getting on the ice I added a 1in pinky loop to help closure, which it did but not as much as I'd hoped. I need to go through and change that loop to a 2in loop to stop if from folding over, the same issue as EF6. I also need to add a index finger loop like EF6. First on ice impressions the glove is light and is a pretty good shape for me to catch with still needs a lot of work to close since it's pretty stiff and squeezing rather than folding, an issue 600 gloves have as well. I'll probably put a lace pocket in it to help soften it
  22. From my understanding it's near identical to the Sparx sharpener. It has next to nothing in common with the traditional prosharp machines. Also 99% sure that picture is in Lindenwood's NCAA locker room
  23. I've got the same issue. I'm about 6' on a good day but I have about 19.25 ftk so I'd be ordering 32+2 or +2.5 pads. I'm in 32+1.5 now and they definitely feel small
