I like this new version. I use the inner flap for both my knee and upper calf straps on G6 but I can see how the inner flap would be annoying for those who don't use the upper calf strap at all.

And that is exactly why I love the warrior. NME and Bauer helmets in general have never fit me that great. Previous ccm buckets didn't fit me well either but XF fits pretty nice

Interesting to see them abandon the internal flap and just make the sling wrap calf strap have velcro on both sides so the knee strap can just go over it. Probably cheaper and easier than making the internal flap removable for people who don't want to use the sling wrap calf strap. Considering how I wear my knee strap on g6 I'll probably remove the sling wrap strap on g7 because the new style lower calf strap does what my sling wrap does now Love the texturing on the graphic. It's also worth noting that pro is replacing the e+ line not pro+ Overall a very promising looking set imo

My new junior team decided they wanted to give me a test run playing with their lower team for a game. I recorded a .968 on 63 shots against and had a secondary assist on our only goal for. I have now been moved to the higher team lol

I have no idea how I got in on this as well but I'll take it. I try to keep my gear up to date and I guess that helps a good bit and playing a decently high level of hockey it's a very good test of just how well products hold up over time. My konekts and sticks are good examples...

These are not konekt 2s these are konekt that I dyed the holder black on. Konekt 2 should have slightly improved buckles though the bigger issue in my opinion remains present. Whether or not air france pays for my ccm skates I will be keeping them and switching to them over konekt in the off season.

Most pads are too stiff or springy to hold curve just by being stored upside too. My G6s haven't really gotten the curve I'd hoped they would

The 615 blocker style was introduced on the 7X3 intermediate blocker and moves the sidewall to the edge of the blocker, similar to ccm, instead of being offset inwards like the 605 and 595. Supposedly it changed the cuff and thumb piece too but I couldn't see any noticeable changes in the pictures As for the Brian's gloves I know nothing officially but the blocker looks to be aimed squarely at the Supreme line and this could be the rumored brians 580 but I doubt it since Delia's using it and he's used optik/600 forever

I added an extra half inch of padding under the shoulders of mine and wear a throat guard and still have no issues with mobility

Ordered my iconik set today since a deal opened. Since my bag of clothes and true skates has been lost by air france as well, the credit card company we have said they're going to cover essentials and sounds like I need a koho shirt, some new EF6 skates, and 4mm steel to try

Yup they were in the bag. The part that's stained was facing the bottom of the bag. Not sure what on earth could've caused the dye to bleed that bad. Thought it was the rain but since water can't get the dye out of the pads we're thinking a chemical

Thanks Air France.... Some kind of dye got on my HL2 pads and can't be removed by water, alcohol, or oil based cleaners.

It's close enough that I could use it and probably not notice but the thumb angle felt a little different. I'll dig my gnetik out of storage as well EDIT: my Gnetik IV feels about the same I've just broken in the thumb loop quite a bit causing it to feel different
