Lack seemed to get better as he got more starts toward the end of the year, but I also think it took getting called out by his coach to light a fire under his ass. The Canes need a reliable goalie who wants to win, hope Darling is that guy. But I agree that they dump Lack and let Ward ride out the last year of his contract as the backup.
