As per the title, I'm putting my G5 set up for sale.

They were like new when I got them, only used a handful of times by the original owner and subsequently for 12 months by myself and still in good condition.

Single break below the knee, stock everywhere else. Pro laces for the toe, I probably have the Warrior toe straps somewhere. I literally just added the G6 slide plates which were fantastic when I got to use them. The left leg pad has a hole worn at the bottom of the leg channel from when I was trying out halo hockey straps on my skates.

60 degree palm, closure is fantastic.

The blocker is a blocker. It works.

Asking $900 USD/$1200 CAD plus shipping from Manitoba.

Ha, nope sure didn't. I notice that the G6 slide plates that I had on them are not attached anymore.

I assumed you kept them lol.

Though if buddy is getting another Warrior set, I can definitely understand why.

I'd have kept them if I was just going laterally to a different Warrior set without them, however, I'm using JRZ Fusions now.

How do you like the JRZs? I've looked at those to replace my GT2s when the time comes.

I don't have anything bad to say about them. I didn't really have any qualms about the quality of the numerous Warrior sets I've had in the past few years, but when comparing with the JRZ stuff, the JRZ feels a little better made. Something about Warrior blockers always felt a little off to me however I adjusted to it, but the JRZ is really good. The catcher, 60 degree break, feels fantastic in my hand. The pads slide well, rebounds are pretty hot, haven't had much of any rotation issues after dialing in the straps. I wouldn't say they excel in any one area but overall they're great and I wouldn't hesitate to get another set.
