Unfortunately, we couldn't convert Keeps. I believe @SaveByRichter35 Tried?
-
Look sharp. Do he or you have Instagram? I will post these

Move over @chakal, I think someone else takes the cake as warrior's biggest fan @Kirk3190 - Did we miss a buy 6, get 1 free promo?!?

I saw a really cool wireless speaker the other day. I clicked around, but I am not really in the market.
-
Welcome and thanks for the feedback. Love getting inf on the lesser known brands!

Thanks to all the new members recently Don't hesitate to click a banner or two and "support" our sponsors. This site costs more than you'd think to run every month and a couple extra clicks help a lot! I am not out to make a profit, just want to break even on our hosting costs on a consistent basis I understand banner ads are kid of a nuisance, but I hope you can appreciate the request!!!

Looks like they executed the design well! Have you worn a Rey before? Any concerns on sweating too much from a mask with minimal ventilation?

Going to try and crank out an article within the next couple days... What do we want? Own the Moment store experience 1X test drive TGN Spec Howard C&A review

Regular Poron till exists and it's a different foam. I think they are changing the names for marketing clarity.
-
The difference in the appearance is probably from how the foam is made or processed. If you play around on the site enough, you'll find the area where it mentions that they can do custom molding or shapes for a specific application. There also are slightly different densities to the XRD depending on the the application. I would imagine all the hockey stuff is you using the toughest version. XRD makes a terrible knee stack landing though! I think conceptually it makes sense? But it's just too stiff.

Yes, that my point. I don't want people who have seen a Velo and not seen 1X to think... This is Bauer's soft pad, must be like a Velo and order them online
-
I honestly don't mind it. I think it makes sense to only have 1 brand. Think about how many brands GM had and now they are down to 3. The lines are blurred too much these days and it's too hard to establish unique brand identities for 6 brand names. At one point, The Hockey Company had CCM, Koho, Jofa, Titan, Canadian, and Heaton!!! With that said... I think CCM for forward gear and Koho for goalies could work well. Try and establish Koho as goalie only focused company like Vaughn. That's also kinda the point of keeping the Lefevre name alive though too. Edit: Maybe CCM for Forwards and Lefevre for goalies!!!
-
I bet the Revolution pad dies after a couple years. That line is even less interesting without the Koho name
-
I've wondered that a bunch myself! Is Koho really worth it?
-
Just heard a fascinating rumor! P2 will be the last pad that CCM calls the Premier line. The 2020 pad, P2 is a 2018, will be called something different. After 15 years, CCM feels the need to reboot the line.
-
Correct. However, in actually wearing them both, I really didn't notice the different that much. It felt like 1S with a different leg channel on the ice. With that said, I wore the 1X for 30 mins and I have lots of ice time with the 1S. Without a larger sample size, it's tough to tell if I would notice the flexibility. For anyone who is reading this and has not seen 1X upclose, 1X is nothing like a Gnetik or Velo in terms of flexibility. Please don't think that's what "more flexible" than 1S means
-
I just wore the 1X. The pad itself feels no different than a 1S. The strapping and leg channel are a huge upgrade. IMO, it's basically 1pad with 2 fits... Loose & tight
-
After studying this, I agree they opened up the eyes more
-
No it's not just the pic, it's busy and way too busy. It's a bad update on the 570 graphic. I think these pads were supposed to be Koho and CCM wanted to kill the name. The side of the pads say "powered by Koho" or something like that

This is the new CCM skate releasing next spring. I believe this replaces the Tacks. 2019 should be a 1 piece style skate or at least 1 without a cowling. Details: Asymmetrical boot (hence AS1) 3D Fitting Tech (Jet Speed player skates tech) Soft on the top of the boot, Very Stiff Base. Designed for good movement around the posts
