Wanna get some ice cream after this, sport?
That's where seagull would tell me I'm too young to understand and I should enjoy my flexibility while I still have it

Seagoal and I still text now and then.
He's got a torn minuscus from playoffs and we've been talking about his theoretical Shadow set he's set on getting.
He's as close to mod status as I am. Lol.
I still miss my tgn dad
although you’ve seemingly taken his place lol

I miss seeing @seagoal around more. We used to have great times teasing each other about how old we each were I don’t even know if he’s a mod or not but he’s been around a long time

He also pretended to be his own neighbor/friend/whatever (Dumpy?)
I'll just leave this link to another forum here, with a screen shot in case it gets deleted (check the post date.)
2023 wtf
I think the fact that he pretended to be his own friend, faked his death, and came back as a fake teenager says all we need to know. Guy needs help

He ended up coming back under the persona of a high school aged kid with a new username.
Got a bunch of people to interact with him, got called out via PM for being the same dude.
Hasn't posted since.
Well thats… different

Thanks for the info. Custom is staying essentially the same then?

The new model will be a contender to the konekt. That's all I can say.
Anything you can add to this now? What about the rest of the goalie skates, staying the same with the TF9 and 7, as well as the custom options?

Officially joined the club of wearing stuff thats probably a bit big just so it looks bigger. Went from a medium optik 2 which was definitely small to an XL which might be just a little big. Large probably would’ve been perfect but once this breaks in and softens up it will be fine. Georgiev wears the same size at 6’1 180. I’m an inch taller but about 15 lbs less so I’ll also grow into it as I fill out hopefully.

Pretty sure it's @A.YOUNGoalie13 who's into feet.
Also, I can't believe that The Hockey Shop used this picture to advertise their 7.0 glove.
I tried that glove they got and it was absolutely mangled internally. Their 7.1 demo one was fine though.

@Yzueblin is definitely on to something regarding the use of white and its inevitable discoloration. If you are going to get new kits fairly frequently - might be less of a concern. I think the real ticket is your current retro graphic (or similar) with an updated colorway - predominantly red and black.
3 hours ago, coopaloop1234 said:His current set isn't even a year old. I don't think he's too worried about the white discoloration that happens coretech skin.
The turning red was annoying but not enough to make me not get any white again. I'm not doing digit print this time sadly because I need new skates and a chest protector. Even with the wonderful discounts I have for working retail it's a lot of money. Lucky I have a good graphic to work with unlike some of the previous supreme models

Interesting that bauer labeled his custom specific colored Mach graphic as digiprint on the boot of the pads and glove backhand
On 4/16/2024 at 2:34 PM, coopaloop1234 said:Good eye. Seems he's worn Supreme gear historically too, so my theory of it being a Vapour pad with the alternate skin doesn't hold.
Though, since he's in Ultrasonic gear or S60, I wonder if they used Digiprint because of that? Though Oettinger's Shadow pads (ultrasonics) are listed as Shadow.
So who knows.
Its a digiprint graphic. The accents of the mach design are more prominent and its all one layer with no texturing unlike the actual ones. Also the way the front of his pads are gold and then it cuts off to the black on the back is custom only. The real graphics had zones that wrapped around and such

Do you mean the finger protection is one piece?
Looks like Mach finger protection with the traditional Supreme (US/2S/1S) cuff.
Yep

That is in no way a flop. He definitely stuck out his leg to trip (or at least block the path), but that is certainly not a flop. Not sure how you managed to read that as such, frankly.
14 hours ago, coopaloop1234 said:His upper body was twisting before contact was made (plus there was no upper body contact). Right leg was twisting as contact was made and not due to the left leg movement forcing it.
A lot of the movement was done in anticipation of the contact coming and not due to the actual contact.
He stuck out his leg knowing that there was a guarantee of contact in the crease and exaggerated his movements accordingly.
AKA a flop.
I doooonnnnnnn’t knowwww
I think he stuck his leg out knowing the chance for contact was there, however the guy shouldn’t have been skating there anyway. Prosvetov was on the goal line. I can attest to the upper body twisting like that when the lower body gets violently torqued like that. Maybe he sold it a little once he was on the ground but the way he fell looks real to me. I just think he knew what he was doing

can't find a good enough pic of it but the one he was using had stock shoulders not cut like that one
Almost 100 percent sure he uses a custom grip. Could've sworn the pro return snowman posted is it.

my favourite Prosvetov highlight is when we booed him out of the arena in Abbotsford because he was a flopper.
Managed to rattle him to let in 5 goals and give the old toss the arms up move to the crowd as he got pulled.
good times.

@ZeroGravitas Have you used both the vapor tune fit strapping and the supreme? Curious about the supreme because of the calf strap but I like wearing my pads super tight. Wonder if I should even bother switching on my next set.
