590 is the most popular glove in the NHL. Only guys that may be in a 580 are in True and CCM, Reimer being the only exception here. Every single guy in another brand is not using a 580. Even within True and CCM a ton of guys use the 590 and some idiots like @coopaloop1234 use the 600.

I went on Getty images to see if I was right in noticing Quick with a silver paddle last night. I was wrong. However, my guy is still wearing thigh boards and has quick slide on his v4s. Plus, @seagoal @Chenner29 call me crazy, but are those KNOTS I see on Quickies toe ties? Why yes they are, and they are there to correct the rotational issues experienced by those of us who absolutely crank the straps on our leg channels to make it as tight as possible! p.S all jokes love you guys!

I see your point. On my old pads I had 6 but what you said applies there too. What do you suggest I change? I have these strapped the same as my old pads.

The pad isn’t so tight to your skate so the pad moves free of the skate essentially allowing it to turn back and forth regardless of what the skate is doing.
