The CCM, can't do much about that. As per NHL rules, the back/floaters have to be permanently sewn in, non adjustable. Could maybe use the fight strap for that but I'll have to see.
A lot of your neckline is showing though, do you hang it up by the back piece? I heard not to do that to avoid the sag. Either have it sit by the bottom, or use a cloths hanger so that the weight is off by the shoulders. I would def try a fight strap to have it pulled up a bit at the front imo.

This guy here?
Yep. It's quite good and comfy on the edges. I got hit a few times with it on and it's just a dull thud.

I've tried wearing both a player's an a CCM goalie cup, but it was pretty cumbersome but I felt some shots wearing just the CCM goalie cup. I've since switched to the Bauer Pro (which is kinda like a double cup in one?) and I've felt nothing but yet feels much easier to move in.

BTW this is the color kit https://www.icewarehouse.com/Bauer_GSX/descpage-GSXGRPH.html
I think you will like the X5, which are a new gen of what I use and I really really love mine.- 1

Which Generation did you try? I know for the first gen there were colorway kits.
I've heard that it's a mishmash of the two lines, but I'm guessing it's closer to the Vapor line.

Ozone is bad for your lungs, so I wouldn't use that thing indoors. Maybe in a garage and then air our the garage?
But Ozone does wonders against smells for sure. Maybe next time I will get an Ozone service done after washing my pads to get it super clean, I find that sometimes some of the smell comes back even after an anti-bacterial wash

can you tell/show what it is? I have a similar problem and I would like to do something similar on my insoles. Thank you
So this is what I've used https://www.homedepot.ca/product/gardner-bender-liquid-electrical-tape-waterproof-seal-all-indoor-outdoor-uses-includes-brush-black-4oz-1-jar/1000751619
Two coats, one day between drying. Just on where the balls of my feet would land and also a lot on the heels.
I was thinking I could use https://www.amazon.ca/VIVA-DECOR-121800010-TRANSPARNT-Transparent/dp/B07PV2MNGM/ as well, but what I used is cheaper and works well for me.

Oh yeah I ended up with them, and yes I have the same scratch issues, but I think just some 3M tape will help.

Resurrecting this thread to ask if anyone has used the True Genetix insoles and what they thought of them, especially compared to Superfeet Carbon's which is what I currently use in my Tf9's. Thanks in advance.
I use the Genetix insoles in the TF9s, I've used Superfeet Yellow in the past and hated them. I find the Genetix a bit squishy at first but pretty comfortable and supportive, I had to add grips to them using liquid tape as my socks slid a bit. I do like them more than their previous footbeds and a bit more than the Graf SIDAS ones. But again, it's a pretty personal thing I find.

I have now three Biosteel bottles with no tops. I wish someone would sell just the tops.

@johncho You were a mechanic? Where have you been hiding man?!? lolll
Haha it was my previous life, I haven't spun a wrench in a loooooong time. But also, I rarely worked on cars, I mostly built race car engines.

I've been doing the 5x5 program, so far so good and it hinges around Squats which should help.

Can you leave the country for a moment, and then apply back?

How did your game go btw?
On Ice impressions? Was it worth it?

Always subtract 2-3" from the official height listing of any pro athlete. Especially NHL goalies.
Soros is my height at 5'9"
Jake Allen's height is accurate, 6'1.5 and Price's probably correct too 6'3 having stood near them at 6'

This is kinda timely, I just saw a youth goalie last night with a pair of Itech pants. It had ridges on the sidewall that looked like it added a few inches.

Bauer Pros, I love them, but I don't know much else to compare it to.
They are super protective and mobile, but I don't believe they are "cheater" sized.

Jake Allen is a hockey history nerd and I love him for it. What a deep cut on that Hayward tribute.

It's also important on how the weight is distributed on your head. If it's front heavy, it will be uncomfortable even if it's lighter than one that sits well (this is on top of a good fit, a helmet can fit well but have a bad weight distribution).

I would maybe cover the area with 3M film, it would make it impermeable and slide better.
