But then theres the Leafs. Plural is supposed to be Leaves. The original interviews with people on the street in St. Louis about the name was funny. Some didn’t even think about it being named after one of the most recorded songs by WC Handey “the St. Louis Blues” we nearly lost our team 35 plus years ago. I can’t imagine a world without hockey and am truly happy for you having a team of your own.

When the blues came to StLouis, people thought the name was dumb. You have a great chance to be a good expansion team. Congrats even though i dont know what the hell a kracken is.

Never played floor hockey in goalie gear but played floor hockey as a kid in gym class no padding no masks nobody lost eyes or teeth. That pic of ranford is the type of pix well never see again cause goalering has become very clinical. Cool pic. -

I grew up in st louis and saw him in Fishers sporting goods in Florrisaint MO a few times. Fishers was the Blues sporting good store until the late 90s great guy.

They should be. Im even gonna use the stuff and see if I like it and if I do Kenesky will make me a pair of pads and gloves so I dont ruin my pristine examples. Might even have olympia composites make me a Jofa helmet for a combo not certain I wanna protect my head with 30 year old plastic.

Thats most likely the pantone name after the number and will not match any other blue. Said navy and meant blue lol

Unfortunately totems could be perceived as some sort of racial slur and just could have gone downhill quickly its like people cant wait to get offended. Not everyone is out to marginalize minoroties sometimes it is good inclusive history. Ill never understand these getting offended hobbyists.

@Wonder35 @Naz yall seem to know old skool goalering. I am looking for technique and resources as I am older but didn’t start playing til I was 45. I do butterfly but my hips and knees aint what they used to be and too much ibuprofen makes your liver bad I already drink a case of beer a week. What books do I need to buy for technique? Thank you.
