6' 2" - use a 27" paddle on Warrior and Brian's sticks.
Update: I've dropped to a 26" paddle and love it. CCM EF4 and Warrior foam cores.

They're essentially the same. Just upside down and reversed.
I do like the proposed Vaughn one more as well, but it's way too similar.
This was discussed in the Optik 2 thread as well, kind of a trend at this point. McKenney, Optik 2, Hank's Bauer set, now V9. It's like the 2019 version of the sock graphic.

Warrior G5

Looks like a hybrid of the original G2 Euro/G4 graphic.

I can't get the photos now, but there's about 4-5 more images in a thread on the Goalieverse group on FB. Stock catalog imagery showing front/back/sides of the pads and gloves. Pretty interesting design. Also, it was mentioned in the thread that CCM has a new mask line coming for this launch, also called Axis. I'll add in photos later today when able.

I had the same thing happening with my G2's. I was in a stock 35+1.5, landing on the top side of the block. Overall pad length/thigh rise was great though. I ordered a 36+0.5 when I ordered my G4's and they're perfect. Almost identical overall height next to my G2's.

@motowngoalie Love Saab... So hard to find... But that is spectacular. My lease is up on my Explorer next summer... I'm leaning towards a Volvo V60 R Design or a Kia Stinger.
But you cn't go wrong with a car company that builds jets!
No kidding! It took me about 3 months to find one with the newer body style (2008 on) and the turbo V6. Volvo's wagons are beautiful, one of the few remaining wagon options it seems..

Seems like everyone in the comments on Instagram is speculating this is competition for the 2S and Optik pads. Isn't the Premier already the competition for those?
Other than graphics, I don't see how the Premier and 2S or Optik are that different. Light, stiff, minimal velcro stapping, reduced outer roll....etc.
Every company has the "stiff line" and the "not-so-stiff line" of pads.
Stiff: 2S, Optik, SLR, Premier
Not-so-stiff: 2X, Gnetik, Velocity, EFlex
These are just the ones on TV.
My guess would be that Axis is something new.
I believe the Premier line is going away. A replacement with a new name would make sense.
They're probably not ready to replace the EFlex line with their flagship goalies still in it (who all seem to favor a flexible pad - Holtby, Bobs, Price).

A steal on a beautiful vintage Ducks setup (with a cool description by the seller to match )

Perani's warehouse sale is coming up, starts July 18th.
Also not goalie related, but The Athletic is 76% off today for new subscribers. I just subbed for the year, cost like $15. Pretty good deal for decent sports journalism.

Awesome, thanks for posting this.
I have a G4 Senior and tuck my chesty. In reference to your 2 loops in the stomach area, I use those to attach the G4 chesty to my RBK 11K pants. The pants have internal ABfit clips and when I attach my chesty to my pants, the connected feeling helps keep everything together which is how I like it. Nothing feels loose or floppy.
The stomach loops are a little small for my ABfit clips to fit through so I've gone as far as to tie a skate lace loop to the stomach loops and now I run my Abfit clips through the skate loop to tie them all together.
I can't wait to hear about how it feels after a few skates.
You're welcome!
Ahh, that makes sense re: the loops. I'll have to try that out

Final update as of 1/16/20: I'm still really happy with this chest protector. For a Sr level product, it's held up very well for me, and no stingers to report thus far. I skate an average of 2 days a week, low to mid level skill. This unit may be inadequate for A-level beer league or junior hockey, but I've taken some relatively hard bombs in it and came away unscathed.
@Kirk3190 makes a good point below about adjusting the arms. My first few skates my elbow was falling out of the cup, but I adjusted the arms and the issue went away. I also noticed the unit riding down in the front after a few skates, so I made a few adjustments and it went away. My concern with the forearm blocks has been a non-issue, I haven't noticed any interference with my gloves during a game.
I probably mischaracterized this unit as bulky, as @estogoalie points out below. It is extremely mobile. I meant that in the sense of protection, this unit is very beefed up. Visually (on ice with a jersey over top), it "appears" very large as well.
Overall, I'd say this is a great piece of equipment for a rec-level goalie. Similar level of protection as a pro unit at a decent discount.

reserved, 30-45 day update
**Edit as of 1/16/20 - kinda missed the bus on this, eh? There's not much to update from initial usage. Little to no break-in time, it's pretty flexible right out of the box. Very usable on the first skate, I had none of the awkwardness that usually comes with a new piece of gear.

Thank you!
Thanks! Yeah, other than Hellberg's Brian's setup, most of them go with a white base. Kind of underwhelming when those colors look so great together.
Thank you
