Thanks for the info Kirk.  Love having you on the board!!!

i think my optimal set up is G4 pads and RGT Gloves. If I decided to go custom ca you guys skin RGT gloves with the G4 graphic?  If not i’ll likely mock up classic sets of each

At this time we don't cross graphics over between models.  However, this request is one of the reasons we offer our Classic graphic.  The Classic graphic matches up well between all models so you can mix and match G3/GT and so on.  If you look at our Instagram page there are some good examples of this.  You'll also find examples where goalies found ways to use the G3/GT graphics and still pull off a great matching set up.

    Here are some examples:

@Kirk3190 I had posted about this earlier in the thread but it seems to have gotten buried, do you have any info about the Ritual CR4 goal stick? I didn't find anything about it on the Warrior website but have a couple that I just picked up.

The CR4 is a Canadian Tire exclusive.  It's a  downspec'd version of a CR3.  Great value! Let me know what your feedback is once you've taken it on the ice a few times.

@Kirk3190 are you able to let us know if the G4 glove will have changeable liners or will it be fixed like the RGT?

I absolutely love my RGT pro!

One of the ways you can tell if our trappers have a removable liner or not is to see if there is lacing in the palm of the glove. R/G3 has a laceless face and has the removable palm option.  R/GT has lacing in the face and  has a fixed palm.  R/G4 has..... (See teaser pics on @warriorgoalie for the answer! ;)

@Kirk3190 - Here's a question I asked Pete on LinkedIn but hasn't been answered yet. Maybe you can explain it to me.

The GT glove is preset at a 70(75) break angle. The G3 has either a 60 or 90 by way of the insert. How can a simple insert make a glove change completely its break angle when clearly the glove has an original break patterned by your die cuts and assembling? It's not like the glove is split in half and joined by movable hinges in the middle, right. It just seems to defy logic to me.

Sure, back in the day you could form your own break with Cooper gloves, but that was before molded plastic inserts and all.

Can you clear it up for me please? Thanks

    Hi @RichMan

The G3 has 60, 75 & 90 degree liner inserts.  These inserts do not change the "constructed" break of the glove, however they do change the feel of closure.  By changing the alignment of your fingers in the trapper you will notice a primary change in how the glove feels when you close it.  I've attached an image that represents the emphasis on which fingers primarily force the glove closed based on which degree is used.

The R/GT trapper is a 70 degree (fixed palm) where the constructed break is slightly different from G3, and the finger alignment inside the glove is also between a (G3) 60D and 75D liner.

Hope this clears it up for you!

    Kirk

Would the Bishop be the new Rask? Loved that curve

No Bishop is comparable with a Bauer P31.  If you're looking for Rask pattern your closest match would be Mrazek.

    Flat, no curve.

No sorry, we only offer Quick (MID), Bishop (TWIST), Mrazek (WEDGE) patterns in custom composite.  I recommend checking out the Quick pattern.  It's a very moderate pattern.

Wow thanks - those are great points. Any chance you have the weights of the R/GT and G4 Pro models?

What size are you looking to weigh in R/GT?  I can't release any weights on the R/G4 yet.  But I can share that we were able to reduce weight when compared with it's predecessor R/G2 Pro.

Just curious - why do you (and others) like the robo-arms? Is it mobility? Or protection? I have never tried one on but it seemed like it was a pretty heavy unit.

Mobility & protection are the main features of this design.  However, I grew up (like most) wearing conventional cut & sew arms and what REALLY sucks me into this C/A is the rebound control.  There is always a bit of unpredictability of where the puck will go in a cut & sew design. "Did it it stick to me? Did it sneak through?  Did it flutter off to the side? Where is it?"  Are all questions I would occasionally ask myself in my older C/As.  With the ShockShield/AxyFlex arms I actually gained control and predictability of rebounds that hit my arm.  Anything that hits the face of a G1, G2, and G4 (2018) dies right against your arm for a quick whistle.  Anything that hits the side of my arm skyrockets to the corners.   I once had a breakaway save that hit the side of my arm.. The rebound went over the glass and into the netting! Lol! It was unreal!

I'm guessing instead of with the G2 chest where there was G2 Pro / G2 Classic for those who wanted the different arm design, the G2 classic has moved onto become the RGT?

Maybe because the arm was too long for me, but on the 1st gen i wasn't a huge fan of the robocop arms (love the body unit though - currently in Ritual Pro w/ CCM arms laced in right now).

We now have  two C/A lines.  R/GT and R/G4.

A lot of people felt that our mismatched sizing in the G2 Pro offered the best fit.  For me, I wore the LG Body/ MD Arms and it was perfect.

I thought they were done with the plastic arm blocks? I'd rather see them go the traditional way personally

The  R/GT line is still available to goalies who are seeking out a conventional cut & sew arm design.

    @Kirk3190 Thanks!

Was playing around with the customizer after I saw this... pretty cool that you’re offering this. This was definitely missing from the composite space.

Minimum order QTY of 3 is not crazy either

Also, love that you have curve options available. Other companies are literally standardizing on 1 curve at retail

    Thanks @TheGoalNet!

@Kirk3190 - able to confirm if this is a new CR1 or an updated graphics package? Or is this just the camera angle?

This is a custom CR1 stick.  Available on www.warrior.com in 3 packs.

    Does new stitching pattern count?

I didn't consider the pattern/graphic of the stitching as 1 of the 4 new things.. But you're on the right track with STITCHING:)

@Kirk3190 Can you confirm if the ARS is included in all RGT pads?

All R/GT leg pads come with free knee guards in the laundry bag.  There should be ARS toe straps included in the laundry bag as well.  If I am following the thread correctly, the leg pads were demos?  If this is true, it's likely the ARS toe straps got lost during the several uses the pads had.  I would check with the retailer you purchased them from to see if they might have the straps in the back somewhere.  If not, let me know and I will do my best to get you a set.
