Sounds like I need to get a new C/A that's shorter on my forearms so that I can use gloves that have wrist straps.

It's the wrist strap pull loop. Picture is from my Ultrasonic refurbishment where I made the loop shorter as it was way too long. You sure can pull the wrist strap tight with that 

For the finger loops; I do them snug so that it feels good and then forget them. This setting is still loose enough so that I can easily lure my fingers into the loops.

Putting it in the front loop does feel loose on your hand no matter how tight you put the strap. 

Putting it in the back loop feels tight and secure but it kind of pinches your wrist. 

Putting it in the middle on the zip tie gives you the tight wrist strap feel but it doesn’t pinch your wrists like the back loop does.

They're not getting their parade any time soon but neither is the team I go for anyways
