RichMan
I've noticed how much different a mask can weigh from one brand to another, from one model/line to another. This is why I thought it would be interesting to bring this up. I am in no way implying that lighter is better or vice versa. For some it can be a deal breaker. If you do post your mask's weight, keep the cage on but I feel it's very important to state the following when doing so: - Size (Jr, SR, S-M-L-XL) - Cage (certified or cat eye) ** even with this, one cage brand to another can be quite different, so it is taken just as a general indicator - Dangler (of course it will add a few oz. My Reidic SR with cateye is very light at maybe 2.5 lbs. In comparison to say the Bauer 950 Large or the Warrior RF2 Large, the difference is almost a pound if not more. johncho
It's also important on how the weight is distributed on your head. If it's front heavy, it will be uncomfortable even if it's lighter than one that sits well (this is on top of a good fit, a helmet can fit well but have a bad weight distribution).
