Darius Kasparaitis playing for Lithuania

Congrats to Kasparaitis for finally playing with his native Lithuania team. He always played for USSR then Russia. To play for Lithuania, he had to jump thru some hoops to qualify after playing for another country. But at 45 he did it. So hats off to him. And Dianias Zubrus. To top it off, Lithuania just finished top of the Div.1B group, so they get promoted to Div.1A next year. Unforunately they had to beat Estonia in the Final game to do it (altho Estonia still had the best goaltending stats )The tourny was in Lithuania, place was packed. you can watch all the games on YouTube here

No, sorry, you aren't Lithuanian

I'm still waiting for the call from the Estonian team But a couple of goalies would have to get broken legs before I got the call I think

Actually, my son will try out for the Estonian U18 team this winter, we'll see how that goes. ....maybe they have an "Over40" team I could shoot for?
