  1. Wow you really are my future. I was gonna say it but retard offends some people these days so rather you than me
  2. Some sitings from the Nerd on Instagram Fleury looks like a tree Gus bus testing all Bauer, no more True glove (maybe?) Elvis testing True, would suck to see him leave Bauer he has had some great sets with them. Also curious about this glove, looks similar to Gibson’s 2 piece
  3. It is with tremendous regret that I create this thread without the great Steph Lawa, however @coopaloop1234 said it best: Last visited: November 2021. alas, I give you the sitings thread. Starting off with Wedgebauer and Wedgewood. Not sure if the one is just an updated newer and better version of the other, but cool sets either way.
  4. "This is you! This is me! I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be!" -Demi Lavato - AYOUNGoalie13
  5. And adults always yell at me for being a smartass
  6. Not sure the last time he was here but @Steph Lawa we are overdue for the 2023-24 sitings thread!
  7. I get he's a mess league guy trying his best but he is... not very good. And the stiffest possible pads are really better off with a more flexible user. Not that other people can't use them but its definitely easier the more flexibility you have. The guy just has too many excuses. At the end of the day if a piece of gear doesn't work for you just say it isn't for you. Just frustrates me that a guy like this thinks he knows all. As someone who has grown up in the heavily goalie coached era, everything is about technique now. Why should someone like myself or any other younger goalies take gear advice from a guy who plays old school, doing just about everything "wrong"? Again I get that everyone plays there own way and stuff, which I respect, its part of why I value input from everyone on here so much, but this guy is making one leg up pad saves and then explaining pad seal 2 minutes later. I want gear advice from someone who at least understands the purpose ofall the tech in the gear, even if they don't use it exactly the way its intended. Sorry but if you can't tell I'm not a fan and have had this waiting inside me for some time now lol
  8. Well I mean is it that hard for someone from every company to decide that a ruler is 12 inches? One would think not but 23 inches is apparently not 23 inches in every companies’ factory I guess.
  9. I know Bauer 23 and 24 paddles are 67 flex. 25s are 87, 26 is 95 I would assume the other companies somewhat concur
  10. Thanks. So did Kova copy Bauer or did Bauer copy them? Bauer’s nme straps are the same exact design.
  11. Feels a bit like you’re holding something cylindrical like a can. Closes great, although I went pro palm over game ready since my mach had a decent amount of stingers. Also went extra padding in the palm.
  12. As someone who also just switched from a life long 590 guy for the most part, my biggest adjustment has been finding the pocket. I’m very used to where the pocket of a 590 sits in my stance and butterfly, so I’ve been taking a lot of shots to the fingers and palm on the Vapor 90. For sure something you have to get used to with time since the pocket is so high up.
  13. So they’ll have Optik-full set, Iconik/Gnetik-full set, and a third set of gloves?
  14. No woman could ever satisfy me to the level that my new gear just did. 580 pro palm with extra padding closes out of the box like a game ready. Just insane.
  15. Thats 160 to you sir Oh, and be sure to mention my height, that is, of course, if you can see up that high
  16. Ice has been terrible at almost every rink
  17. Yeah some of that story didn’t add up to me
  18. Maybe the customs come in better than off the shelf. He did however have to fix the plastic in the back of the tee on all 3 that he got.
  19. Well known tgn member and charity case @ThatCarGuy pictured here using somebody elses gear… Again! Man this guy needs to just pick a set and stick to it
