  1. OK so to answer a few questions here from personal experience. I've had several skates that have been riveted and re-riveted a few times over. My current inline skates, Graf 7500s have had the original cowlings, removed those, drilled and riveted on CCM XSG holders, removed the XSG holders, drilled again to fit the current Labeda Predator chassis. Still solid. As it is, I am looking for a smaller sized chassis as the one that is on there is too big. So that would be another drilling session that would be needed lol. The bottom of these skates are looking like swiss cheese. I've never skated with Tour Thor skates so I cannot comment on the flimsiness of the boot. But, when I first started playing ice I was in some shitty Bauer Supreme 1000 boots that were flimsy as shit. Then I moved up to the Bauer Supreme 7000 boot. As I said I have never held a Tour boot in hand but it looks to have a carbon weave boot so I am sure you'll be fine.
  2. Dammit. Yea those are the same size. The problem is that size chassis works on that size 8 skate but it also has a cowling on it. The chassis I have now were on a 9 boot with a cowling. They're like skis on a size 8 boot without a cowling. The tips of the chassis literally hang off the edges of the boot. I'll add a picture to the original post so you can see lol
  3. Yea pretty much. Can you measure from front to rear axel like Dreadlocked1 did a few posts up?
  4. Let me catch up reading this thread. But, while I do that :cough: here look :cough:
  5. I had it done to my T5500, it was a custom request. Look how much better that looks. For the life of me I do not know why they continue to do that. I get it in the olden days when goalies had their gloves down by their knees. But no one does that anymore. Evolve already.
  6. And upping your electric bill as you charge it at home.

  8. Also, the players are not looking forward to this. It is not going to be exciting for them to be playing at an NCAA arena. The facilities situation for them is an embarrassment. https://theathletic.com/3187030/2022/03/16/every-other-team-in-the-league-will-be-laughing-imagining-the-coyotes-future-in-arizona/?source=emp_shared_article
  9. The Coyotes will never be moved to Quebec. The league just finally evened the conferences with the addition of Seattle to the West. If the Coyotes move anywhere it will most likely be Houston. A rapidly growing southwestern city with an owner begging for an NHL franchise and has an arena waiting for them. Keeps the team in the west, natural rivalry with Dallas. The city is also home to lots of corporate headquarters so that means lots of potential branding rights $$$$$$$$$. Its a real shame it didn't work out at the Glendale arena. I've never been inside Gila River Arena but I was there for a Giants Cardinals NFL game. That whole area surrounding the arena and football stadium is so nice. Lots of bars and shops and restaurants. That has to be better than spending time in a college arena.
  10. But yes my hatred for Pittsburgh runs deep. I hate how blatantly obvious it is that they get so many calls their way. Its like the league isn't even trying to hide it anymore. I am not saying that as a Ranger fan, I have seen it happen with Pittsburgh against other teams as well.
  11. Honestly I didn't think that Carter ran Shesterkin. I definitely didn't try to move out of the way but I think it was just such a bang bang play with Shesterkin running into Fox first and then turning around and boom there was Carter too. I hate seeing Shesterkin flop like that though. Stop dude, you look like a soccer player. He's done that before.
  12. Huge Ranger fan, obviously. I wanted DeSmith to come back in the game so badly because I so badly didn't want Domingue to be the one to let up the winning goal and obviously I wanted the Rangers to win. Nothing against DeSmith, what he was doing was awesome too. But to see Domingue come into the game in that situation and play as well as he did was awesome to see. As a Ranger fan I wanted to see the Rangers win, but, as a goalie I didn't wanna see Domingue lose. Weird situation. Ended up not mattering in the end.
  13. Damn. That's not much less than what I have now. I'll keep these in mind if I cannot find anything else though. Thank you!
  14. Oh nice that might work! Would you mind measuring from front to rear axels to see what you come up with?
  15. Boom! TronX Pavement outdoor wheels. 85A just like the Labeda Asphalts that I was looking at and $2 less per wheel. Just gotta see how the added shipping costs will compare to local Pure Hockey prices. Might also have some Pure Hockey points as well. Thanks again @dreadlocked1!
