I feel dirty looking at these.

Does anyone use pants w/ integrated knee padding? Not sure why but they never appealed to me.
I'd probably think about it if I still used thigh wraps. I had the V4 ones that aren't the most comprehensive in protection. Since I've switched to knee pads, I'd heavily avoid them.
These suckers here:

I agree the graphic is not love at first sight. The SLR is beautiful, but maybe this one will grow on me?
That's exactly what it remind me of.

Graphic is too space-agey for my likes.
Is this Vaughn's yearly revamp on their naming system?
-
I"m curious, why do a lot of you guys wear your suspenders over your C/A?

If there's one thing Vaughn isn't great at, it's their brand numbers/names.
They seem to switch them up too often. 7600, 7800, 2000, XR, etc.
For a company that's very stuck with familiarity, they don't like to keep things simple when they switch naming methods every few years.
-
So I'm looking to start a little database of our own here as well as satisfy my own curiosity.
As long as I've been in net, I've always worn my C/A untucked with my pants being held up by suspenders. As we all tinker with our gear and how we wear it, switching up my method has been crossing my mind lately.
By asking the very top-notch members here about how they go about wearing the larger pieces of equipment, I'm looking to get a better idea of how other goalies go about their gear as well as foster some community interaction. If you can, please provide pictures, pictures are always welcome.
For myself:
C/A: Vaughn Ventus LT90
Pants: Vaughn Ventus LT88
How Do I Wear it?: Pants are worn semi-loose and held up with suspenders. C/A is untucked and semi-loose as well.
Any Issues?: I've never felt that my gear has let me down in this way, though I do feel that the stomach protection of the LT90 is less than ideal as the odd shot can leave a stinger (maybe that's normal for most users?)

Pretty sure it's 75.
The Ventus line took over and my LT90 was a 75 degree.

I look this GSBB 2.0. Maybe someday we can formally merge, but I doubt it. hopefully all that good old data can live on!
Just print screen every single page on the site and post it in one big megathread,
Done.
Definitely a great use of your own resources.

Sr knee pads... I'm wondering if the ARS toe thing has to do with the pads being a demo set?
That may make sense. Still irks me that they didn't include them anyways if that's the case.
My SR R/GT's came with the toe ARS straps. Don't see why the Pro's wouldnt.

The ARS strap for the RGT's is not included... must be bought separately. I would love to try it, but am very comfortable with shock cord based products
Whoever is telling you that is wrong.

Straight from their website, ARS straps are included.
You got the knee pads too right?

Loving the strapping system on the pads as well. My Passau's were all elastic so the sling wrap system on these is perfect. I'm planning to swap out the skate lace on the toe ties for my own shock cord toe system.
Not going to give the elastic strap that comes with them a try?

No... stupid Labour Day weekend F'd me... hoping tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.
Popped into my LHS this morning... must say I much prefer the feeling of the RGT glove vs the G3. Feeling and closure seemed better... and closer to the old Smith line of gloves.
The R/GT gloves definitely feels better. The G3 feels really thick and spongey to me in comparison.

Is the Optik replacing both the Gnetik and SZ? Looks like they're tying both style of pads together and offering options to customize it either way.
Does this make their pad releases every two years instead of every year?

I think the stock graphic they ended up going with looks better. Especially since this graphic looks alot like the Razor graphic.

Those zones up there are non functional. Its just stitching, not a color zone.
Well shit. Missed opportunity then.

@SaveByRichter35 I actually don't like your revision. The black set looks a lot better than the green set.
I was mostly wanting some grey and green in the thighrise colour zones while still keeping the black base.
Something like this. Excuse the poor paint job.
Though, I'm never played with the customizer, so I'm not sure if adding colour in those zones automatically add colour above the colour in the boot you already have.
-
Maybe with some more colour at the top of the thighrise.
C'mon man, be flamboyant in the crease.

I was being sarcastic since you had used "cut and sew" three times in one sentence.

It would probably be closer to a GT if you wanted to take a direct comparison.
Though, both are still more akin to the stiff side of the pad spectrum than the Gn3tik's and Velo's.
