  1. There was an upcharge for the custom graphic, I think it was less than $100 CAD.
  2. The letter denotes where the pant was built. A is built in Asia. C is built in Canada. See if the seller has a picture of the tag, it should say made in Canada. HPG14 are NHL-spec in terms of sizing, which I do not believe the HPG12s are. Also, the waist sizing is different. HPG12s come in Small (30-32"), Medium (32-34"), Large (34-36"), X-Large (36-38") and XX-Large (38-40"). HPG14 come in Fits 1-5 instead. I suspect the waist size is measured per the NHL rulebook, so a Fit 1 is 32-34.49", Fit 2 is 34.5-36.49", etc. Check out Section 3 - Equipment - 11.4 for the other sizes.
  3. Vaughn does. A buddy of mine got some SLR4 pants with the red/gold Canucks V on the sides.
  4. Any chance you can measure shoulder to shoulder, collar to belly and arm length? I've been thinking of getting a Pro Series, but don't know how they fit and no local stores carry them to try.
  5. The G6 - and maybe the G5? had a slit in the calf so you could put the wrap through that to make it slightly tighter. My last experience was GT2, which, IIRC, did not have that option. I noticed the pillow was removable, too! It leaves a big strip of velcro to rub on your leg/hockey sock though.
  6. Didn't pay much attention to G6 as I was/am happily married to my Bauers. It does seem really odd to cover it up on the black models but not on the white models. I do like the changes to the calf strapping - I think it may have begun with G6 - one big complaint customers had with Warrior was the inability to fine-tine and really get the calf tight. I'm hesitant on the big calf pillow here - that's one thing I didn't like about Hyperlite1.
  7. Axis XF on the way, Bauer and Warrior are here, Vaughn SLR4 coming any day/week now. That'll be it. With my one league game on the weekend, it's really hard to find stick time or pick-ups during the week - they all seem to be Fridays, and I'm hesitant to skate two days in a row and compromise my ability to win my men's league games. Still recovering/trying not to aggravate whatever injuries I have and playing back-to-backs does seem to set it off. I've used the car analogies a lot. For me, playing with the Bauer is like driving a Mercedes Benz. Nice, smooth ride. Most everything just feels quality - though MB and Bauer do take shortcuts with certain things and some things are quite dumb, but overall the performance and feel is top notch. Holding and looking over the G7 is like getting in my wife's Hyundai. Below are two pictures, one of my G7's inside finger guards. There's plain exposed foam there. My first reaction was that someone forgot to cover it up. I looked a retail white-based G7 blocker in my store and it's the same. But a black-based G7 blocker in the store had a suede-like covering over it. It just looks much cleaner.
  8. Gear is pretty much stock, except for going INT size in the hands, which I never had the guts to do on my other sets - I do think I like it. Added the wrist strap for the catcher since I'm old fashioned. Entirely possible that I won't do a full, separate thread for a couple of reasons: hard to find ice time (not a lot of pickups and stick times in my area for some reason), and a deep attachment to the way my Bauers feel and perform.
  9. Haven't worn Warrior since GT2, about 4-5 years ago? There are some nice quality of life changes, some long-needed improvements, and some things that I outright just don't like...
  10. The yellowing is not as bad as it used to be. Part of the reason of the change to the SLID3R skin is to remedy the discoloration that the CORTech skins were known for.
  11. I cleaned them up a little bit but have no excuse. Note the catcher's tee is pristine

  14. For sale! Gear has been well taken care of. Air dried and sprayed with Captodor after every use. No rips or tears anywhere. Lots of life left in these. Only selling because I have several new sets due to come in the door in the next couple of weeks. These are great pads and I played some of my best hockey over this last season - hopefully that mojo passes on to you. Colors are white, red and metallic gold. Prefer to ship in CONUS, shipping from sunny California. Looking for $1,600 shipped USD. Specs as follows: Leg pads: Size Small Ultrasonic (Mid) stiffness (slightly stiffer than stock) Hyperlite 2 soft boot (stock) Stabilislide knee Hyperlite 2 calf bracket (stock) CRS boot straps (short) Elastic toe system - centered TuneFit 2.0 strapping (stock) Supreme toe bridge Non-grip knee Catcher: Vapor 90 catcher SR size fit Regular hand (catch left) Pro palm Single tee, reinforced tee Ultrasonic Nash interior Waxed skate lace pocket Add 3mm DCT foam to Thumb Area Blocker: Standard Hyperlite2 blocker Includes thumb pillow (stock) Regular hand (blocker on right hand) Standard SR palm
  15. From the picture I saw from some Bauer materials, it looks exactly like this one from The Goalie Crease
  16. What specs are you looking for? Total Custom Pro should have all the specs available - more than the Total Custom option. All Out is the custom graphics option which includes TCP options.

    Vaughn SLR 4

    My God, that+1 looks like a +4
  18. I don't think it's going to affect anything. It's all bungee - including the part that is underneath the Y-shaped leather cover. I assumed it was going to be something non-elastic.
  19. ProSkateGoal in Calgary has demo sets in, maybe they can snap some pics?
  20. Per the video: Cam mentions at 5:26 the new default is jenpro instead of speedskin - not sure if that applies to all stock retail sets? I think @ThatCarGuymight have pointed this out a couple months ago? They also mention that CCM claims weave is worse on fresh ice. They also mention that the change in materials and design -> increased sliding -> 24% improvement in sliding on clean ice and 37% improvement on rough ice. How much of that is due to materials (reversion of speedskin to jenpro ) and how much to design? Jumping on the #2 bandwagon!! I submitted the following set this morning - minor tweaks to previous set I had posted.
  21. Ordered 2/28, received 4/10, so 6 weeks on the dot. Wait time is probably longer now because custom orders opened up for retail.
  22. The stock Axis 2 is LiteXCore and MaxRebound+. The stock Axis XF is LiteXCore and Infinite Power Rebound. It's hard to say how MaxRebound+ and IPR will feel - there's nothing concrete yet. The only thing is the custom goal catalog which shows "X-STIFF" for MaxRebound+. Per the '24 custom goal catalog:
  23. What's interesting is that the 2023 custom goal catalog does not mention the "+" for either AX2 or EF6. But the regular retail catalog for 2023 lists the Core Construction of the AX2 as "LITEXCORE AND MAX REBOUND+ TECHNOLOGY".
