What was the turnaround time like? I didn't get my order in until last month, and can't quit looking at the projected delivery dates on my calendar. As they say, the waiting is the hardest part.
They aren't in my hands yet. But I placed my order near close of business on January 31st. I was quoted 7-9 weeks and I'm almost at 9 weeks now.

The side-by-side pictures on the previous page make it look like the R\GT2 lower and upper arm sections are wider than on the original R\GT. Is this the case? The original one was very comfortable when I tried it, though I ended up going with the R\G4, so I'm looking forward to trying this one on in store soon.
Warrior squared off the biceps area for more coverage, that's why it looks wider. Lower arm section is still rounded, but definitely looks a bit wider and maybe beefier.
They added a second layer on to the elbow floaters, too. Kinda hard to see unless you zoom in on the photos.

I'm not getting any matches at that link.I guess whatever you saw that has expired.
I think the period in the link screwed it up. I messed around with the link - try it again?

Deals to be had at Just Hockey Toronto.
Don't know if they ship to US, though.

I'm still going to tinker for sure... I really want to use to GT2 customizer and see if those accent pieces on the shin are cut off halfway across the pad face for not. If anything Warrior has such versatility in their stock graphics

I'm thinking the boot ones do though.
You guys are talking about the neon green diagonal stripes on the shin and boot? Those do not carry full-length across the shin. They terminate about 2/3 across the face of the pad, just like the photo from Warrior's Instagram.

Keep posting and sharing your designs and experiences!
I'm thinking of getting my mask wrapped and I'm looking for design inspiration and details on the process.

Placed an order for a full set of custom CCM yesterday on March 8th.
Dunno what the wait times are, though.

Just curious if anyone knows if just buying the boot is still an option. I was at my local PHL today the guy there didn't seem to think so, but they've been wrong before.
You can opt to get the boot without the holder mounted. You'll still get the holder separately, but you'll be paying the full price. Previously there was a discount if you went boot-only, but that's gone now.

I really wish I went with the pro finished interior on my mask.
Even with a price tag of $250 CAD/approximately $190 USD?!

Placed an order for a full set of custom Warriors back on Jan 31.
Was quoted 7-9 weeks. We'll see how long it takes!

GoalieMonkey has the Koho 589 Vintage Pro at $399.98.
Good price if you don't mind an older pad.
Unfortunately, discount codes don't seem to apply.
Only in 34+2, White/Red, specs as follows.
Koho 589 Vintage Pro Leg Pad
MODEL M1 Flex Options Straight Angle, Single Break Leg Strap System Adjustable Nylon Inner Leg Channel & Calf 2 calf straps - tight lower, loose upper Toe Arrangement Standard leather bridge w/lacing ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GoalieMonkey also has the Reebok XLT pro leg pads on sale at $554.98.
Discount codes apply, so you can use the current code of "CLEAR10" to bring it down to $499.48 before any applicable sales tax and shipping.
Only available in 34+2, all white, no break.
Pretty good deal on a modern butterfly pad.

Goalie gear is expensive. Crazy expensive.
So I wanted to start a thread dedicated to sharing the best deals around.
Only one real rule here: all sales should be from a manufacturer/vendor. No GGSU, SidelineSwap, Craigslist, Ebay (unless from an actual vendor) postings here, please.
I'll start us off:
Crazy good price for a pro level catcher and blocker. Maybe us Americans can take advantage of the exchange rate on this one?
Unfortunately, for our full-right brethren, TGC only has regular hands. And they only come in White/Red. The pricing seems to be until they get rid of their stock, but I don't know that for sure.

Goalie Monkey is putting some of their demo gear on sale.
Various prices here, colors are limited, as are sizes.
Gearr is obviously used, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the JR and INT gear is hardly used.
Below is just a snippet of what's available. No CCM available, apparently.

Noticed another bug. When viewing over regular HTTP, embedded links (is that what they're called?) like Instagram posts show up fine. But with forcing HTTPS, it doesn't load the link/post properly. Notice the change in URL (with HTTPS and without). See the GIFS below from the "Warrior GT2" thread in the Warrior subforum, and the "Bauer Scan Data" from the Skates and Holders subforum.
I'm seeing this issue in Firefox and Chrome. I even fired up Microsoft Edge and it has the same problem there.
I don't seem to have a problem with images uploaded by users that are embedded in posts.

Seems okay here, but it should redirect to https automatically and isn't.
Yep, you're right. For whatever reason, I'm not getting that certificate error anymore.
But I'm having the same problem where it is not redirecting to https.

Pretty impressive on Warrior's part. Good to hear.
@cwarnar @ZeroGravitas Were these full blown custom with multiple changes? or simpler, like color zones?
Like @wox33 says, there isn't much that Warrior allows you to do with custom. With the GT leg pads, all you can specify is size, color and whether you want an external break (or two). That's it.
Maybe that's why Warrior is able to build them so quick.
I remember when Reebok's option program was essentially the same as Warrior's - size, color and break(s) only. Now CCM has one of the more robust custom programs around.

Custom Warrior Ritual GTs leg pads.
Did an in-store custom order at my LHS on 11/29/2017.
The store quoted me 6-8 weeks.
I called Warrior's hotline directly and was told 10 weeks.
They showed up on my doorstop, Sunday, December 24, 2017, 25 days later, or about 3 and a half weeks later.
It was crazy fast. After calling Warrior, I wasn't expecting them until maybe the end of January.

Does anyone on here have a 961 shell from Michel? My mask is ready to be made, and I'd requested the 961 if possible. I sent measurements and didn't do a head mold, and Michel just confirmed it'd fit.
I'm second-guessing myself now. I have a fat head and I'm thinking it won't work, so just wondering if anyone with a larger dome has one...
I have a Protechsport 961, but I don't think I have an overly large head.
I also have a Theodore-mold from him too, which, from what I understand, is a medium-large size head. Both my Theodore and 961 masks were built off head molds I sent him.
I'd trust him - he sees a lot of heads and can make whatever adjustments needed to make it work.

That chesty was so comfortable when I tried it on. Hope I didn’t make a mistake sticking with what I was used to with the Vaughn.
Yeah, I was very surprised by how comfortable it was, too. The Vaughn V8 Pro I tried didn't impress me; the Shield 2 felt much more plush against the body.
Only thing I'm worried whether the arm and bicep protection is any good. I'll skate with it tomorrow and see.

You ordered GT2s, too?
I was helping a customer order his G4s about 3-4 days before I ordered my GT2s. He got his G4s on the 20th. Mine should be here literally any day now...
I too was hoping it'd be faster than the times that were quoted. A buddy of mine got his custom G4 set at least a full month (IIRC) before that line's retail launch.
