    Added some team colour to my pads with Duck tape. I had done a sock graphic with pad wrap not long ago, but it didn't adhere well so I changed things up.

    I can't justify the cost of custom ordered pro gear anymore, so I ordered some pad wrap stripes to put a little team colour on my gear.

    Got a new Sportmask the other week. Threw some vinyl on it.

    Sub Zero pro glove, few years old but used for ball hockey so this thing is barely used. $60!!!!! Covered up the black hastily with pad skinz.

    Good to hear. I just went off of my head measurement and a couple reviews, it'll be miles ahead of the 940X I was using (purchased locally in a pinch, selection isn't great where I live). Those look sick.

    Does anyone know if the Vapor X900 skate is comparable to the 1X in the same fashion that the S190 is comparable to the 1S?

    Have you tried to make a Junior B team? Is Jr. B the only option? I wasn't good enough for B, there's also Junior C where I live. It's...not very good but it's a good time.

    Won the league playoff tourney for a team I was subbing for after their goalie went down with an injury a couple weeks before season's end. Got an assist on the championship game winner with less than 5 seconds left. It's only beer league but it felt really good to win.

    Holding them side by side, the senior pads were definitely a bit softer, but not excessively so. I can't believe how good they are for the relatively inexpensive price.

    I couldn't justify the price difference, especially when the G3 SR pads were on sale at $699(Canadian)when I bought them. The difference doesn't seem that great.

    yep. I just threw some tape on over the strap to fix the problem, easier than doing a warranty return.

    I've been on the ice twice with my G3s and I found that the straps on my knee pads aren't the same length, resulting in the right kneepad lower portion sliding down my shin. The one that stays in place is great, I'm just going to have to shorten some straps on the other.

    @CharlieB29I've just recently bought a GNetik, couple years older model though. I love it, best feeling glove I've ever worn. It seems though that trapper preference varies highly from person to person, what feels great to one person may feel awful to another.

    @CharlieB29 at 14, do you want to drop the extra cash for a custom set when you're probably still going to outgrow them in a relatively short time period?

    Just went to the shipping depot to pick these up! My Smiths are light already, but these are about a half pound lighter yet! There's also a blocker, but nobody cares about that. Thanks @TGC-Rance!

    So, I didn't end up actually getting those factory mad gloves, but at PIAS today I found a Brian's GNetik pro glove for $140!

    Nothing fancy but I have some variety. P4, Smith SP5000 and Simmons 997. Pretty sure I bought the Smith set from @cwarnar last year before I knew about this place.
