So what's your take on them, how do they compare to the CR1? Reason I ask is I have the option to pick ether a 2s pro or a CR1 for a really good price. While we at it these are my latest purchase. File the claim now why wait ? You have waited long enough and now your going to let it go another month or two. If there is a bankruptcy/money issue as to the name change and everything else you might have a harder time getting your money back if the paypal account is gone, along with the bank account attached to it. Ether jock is fine, I have used both, and the protection is great.

Yeah am going to run to the calf wrap anyways, just wondering what options people are using for knee pads. I'm looking a possibly picking up a set of 1x or 2s knee pads but I do like my CCM ones alot.

Thanks, will be a couple of months before am on the ice again. Question to those that wear the Vapor pads, what are you using for knee pads ? Just wondering with small knee lock area, as I don't want to cut anything away until I have used the pads a couple of times. I currently have the CCM Pros so am just wondering.

So I picked up a miss matched set of 2s gloves labelled 1s a couple of weeks back. I then came across a set of Spencer Martin pro return 2s gloves for a really good price, so sold the other set and bought the Martin set. I also came across a set of Bauer vapor 1x pads on kijiji that weren't used that much. For some reason it was hard to find used large Vapor pads, medium and xl were easy to find. Been in Brian's for a long long time so the change should be interesting. The 2s glove is really great, closes very well.

After being in Brian's for the 18 years I made the switch to Bauer for this season. Pads are stock Vapors that were only used for about 2 months. Gloves are Spencer Martin pro returns 2s. I don't know how long they were used for but judging by the use not very long. Glove closes really nice.

Brian's weave hard to clean...lol. Tell him soap and water won't work..lol. I have a set of Subzero 2 in white weave and I clean them no problem with Mr.Clean magic erasers and water. Only a handful of Marks won't come off but ether then that they look new the start of ever season.

That's the one thing I like. It I can never find it stock now a days. I always used Halak pattern Sherwoods that had it and loved it. Let me know too about it.

I told you so....lol It so said how that company operates, let along continues to operate. His proioiritis are all wrong and he seems to pick and choose his customers. Anyone from the GGSU Facebook page he seems to go nuts for, that's his main priority is people off that site. Everyone else is left behind and gets at the excuses or gets terribly made products. I understand he has health issues but at least be upfront with paying customers about deleys and problems. When he stared it seem like it was going to be a great company with a great products but everything seems to have snowballed down hill since.

I am looking for some info on Bauer's pad sizing with this new system they have. Did quick search on here and not much came up. Now am in a 35+1 Sub Zero 2 pad now. Would I be better in a size large or XL Bauer pad now with there sizing system ? I had read some people went up a size with this, and others stayed the same. The nearest store from me with gear is 2-2.5 hours away so am kind of buying blind. Also am buying used this time around as its my 1st go with Bauer pads.

Last time I seen the price list they were between $700 and $850 Canadian, the Russian spec I believe was an upcharge( around $75) as was custom colors ($75). The price listed in USD seems alittle higher, might be trying to make some extra off it. I honestly can see them costing $1100 CND now. -
Thanks, I think it's just how they break it in. I had eflex 3 glove from the OHL last year that I traded for the 1s I also own(and are trying to sell or trade) and the pocket was the same thing. Once I get the 2s glove am going to see how the pocket is and more then likely replace it with skate lace. Am really looking forward to using the blocker, after hearing about the shots comes off them really good.

Took the jump and bought a 2s pro set of gloves of Sideline swap. They are labeled 1s but are the 2s Pro model. Price wasn't bad ether cost me $450 Canadian for the set shipped. Glove was used the end of the OHL season and blocker was sample made to try on in the OHL. Got the blocker yesterday and it pretty much brand new. Glove I will clean up a bit but I am not going to complain about it. Next on my list is some Vapor or 2s pads. After being in Brian's for around 15 years I decided I wanted to try Bauer's gear out again.

What is the big difference between the new 2s trapper and the 1s trapper besides the double T being standard ? I have a 1s trapper and am looking at possibly buying one of the new 2s trappers. Just wondering if it's worth it or not ?

I believe it's $75 for pads and $75 for gloves. It might be alittle more now but just gives you an idea

No it won't be stopped at customs. I had to order my Bauer cheater cage from the US because they cannot sell them in Canada. I am only a couple of hours from OTNY and was going to pick it up and they wouldn't let me. It's a pain in ass.

A couple of 2spro sticks on eBay. Seems like the new paddle isn't as strong as the 1s paddle design. The Blackwood one the edge looks like it expoded. That is my worry too. The durability of there products have been crap. The ideas are there but the quality of the materials used has been junk. I really like the whole idea and would love to get one but 3 or 6 months down the road, even year the stuff fails your out $100+. I honestly would like to see some else who does quality work and uses quality materials take this same idea and build it. I don't know if Factory mad does jocks but Dennis could build something like this and it would last a longtime.
