  1. I am interested too but am I going to get it when it's supposed arrive or 4 months down the road ? The kevlar cup is interesting for sure, it adds another $40 to the price listed. I thought it was already included in the listed price. May just source out the kevlar cup on its own and add it to what I have already. My other issue to, is how is the durability going to be ? Is it going to hold up or break down fairly quick like most of the other stuff ?

Neather am I. Now everything above xl is custom order/custom upcharge. Absolute BS. I was looking at buying pair to try after using Brown 2300 pants the last 5 years.
  4. Nice pickup for great price. I had a set of Mad gloves, used them about half a dozen times then went back to my Gnetik gloves. I think you really need to spend the time and deal straight with Dennis and order what you want. They just never felt right to me. Mad stuff is great though, I want to pick up knee pads from him.
  5. I haven't single issue with all three of them. It the same style of elastic Protechsport sent with my 1st mask and it's held up alot better then any of the elastic harness I got. The one from Wesal head last me about year, year and half before I replaced it with another one. The elastic that looks almost like Terry cloth never seems to last long. They absorb alot more sweat and are prone to memory stretch which seems to break them down more quickly. What were the problems with the Nash ones? I have never seen them mentioned anywhere.
  6. http://www.padskinz.ca/product/goal-mask-harness/ Have one of these on all three of my masks. Work really good and it's a high quality elastic strap that will last.

From what your saying how this is between the S190 and 1S it would be the same model as the currant SPro model that is offered right now to semi pro/pro goalies. Judging by your pictures it has the same material used on the paddle as my SPro too. I will get a better look at the paddle once am home and have ir on my tablet. It's too small on myphone. **Just checked out the pictures again and the 2s is the same build as the currant Bauer SPro model that is only available to semi pro/pro goalies. It basically falls below the 1s/NXG for weight as it weights alittle more then those models but the materials are a little more durable and stronger.
  8. They might not ship them to Canada. Because of the sales restrictions there cart usually blocks anyone from Canada ordering the big 2 brands. I'd love of pair of Winnipeg heritage pants. Chances are they might come from overseas, most of the newer CCM pro pants are starting to comes from over there. I know when most of the pro pants before these hit the market it was hit and miss somewhere from Canada and others overseas.

Well said. I couldn't agree with you more. I currently have 2 pairs of custom made Bauer and after finally seeing and holding a VH/True skate there is nothing super special to make me want to go out and get a pair versus what I currently own.

Those were made back in the day when 38" was the total height aloud. But yeah they fit alot bigger then what they say there were. I would say they were closers to a 40" or 42". There was little things companies would do for the pros to keep there pads at the limit but once worn they were taller. I have pair of Garth Snow dx2 pads. They were listed as 35+3 but fit closers to 40" pad as they had no skate channel in the boot. The pad just sat on top of my skates.
  12. They are close to same, I had a conversation with Ed years back when I wanted to get one of his masks. Kicking myself in the butt for not doing it
  13. Have patience with the man, this isn't his full time job. He works for a company that does tire work for the heavy truck industry. He goes in there and works 8 to 10 hours a day then comes home from work and does his masks. In talking with him, he never intended to get this busy as it was only a side project for him and he said he will never give up his full time job for it. The money is no where near what he makes in his full time job to give it.
  14. It was a gift through my good friend Roddy Rod and myself. He loved getting them done, he couldn't wait until the day i was goimg to bring my son in for his 1st gear. Sadly that day won'the come now and my son won't get to meet the equipment Legend. Brian's will do it now but there are not a nice as there is no bindings on the pads. If you check there is instagram page there is a couple posted. I think there in the $100 to $160 range someone told me now.
  15. Love it, really changed the feel of the gloves as he redoes the insides of the glove too. Here the before and after of it. The only I wished he made the pocket a little more deeper. With the waxed style lace it's very stiff so it needs to break in a little more. His work is amazing. I almost bought a set of knee pads from him but then I found a used pair for half the price. Once I was ready to send payment the buyer backed out.
  16. My son and my Sub sets. His wear done for his birth 4 years ago. My set is Sub 2 pads with Gnetik gloves, all done in Halak specs. I have since updated the glove with Factory mad pocket, and internals.
