That blocker looks like it's been thinned out even more...  looking forward to this line releasing!

That would be very strange if it was thinner since I think that's still an Axis 2 blocker and glove

  2. I had the same issue after only a season of use with my one pieces a few years ago. After sending them to True twice to be repaired True deemed them unfixable, sent them back to me, and asked if I wanted a new pair of one piece or two pieces skates free of charge. Ended up opting for the two piece skates.

I never was able to fix my one pieces and ended up selling them for cheap.

So far so good. Unit is super beefy but i've never really felt that encumbered.

It's not as mobile as my rgt pro or my hyperlite, but mobility is still really good and the protection is better than both.

It took a few months of adjustments to get it right, but now I don't even adjust anything when I put it in, including wrist straps.

I feel massive in the thing.the shoulder caps are very large as are the arms. It definitely doesn't feel like a "legal" unit.

I have an X3 Pro+ and I agree with all of those however this unit is super heavy compared to any other retail unit and from my experience runs pretty hot. Looking forward to Mach later this week :)

    Fixed it for ya lol

It's a neat car but I simply don't have room or time to make it worth having. I'd need to hold on to my outback simply because it's wonderful on road trips and can seat more than the brat. Plus that brat is missing the most important reason to buy a brat

The mistake would be not buying it.

Take it to car shows. People are craving seeing these again.

It runs but needs fuel pump and who knows what else. Plus only 73hp isn't exactly ideal for Texas highways. It should get better mpg than my 2003 outback though. Body and seats are pretty rough but doesn't appear too bad otherwise

I had some G7s in my hands a couple weeks ago. Definitely some changes occurred, but the lexan plate is still available.

I feel like the airslide channels lost their purpose once they stiffened up the sliding surface. Guessing no changes to the gloves and blockers?

  7. Gorsuch in the ECHL using a Warrior R/M3 skinned stick. The shaft geometry looks more like M2i. No idea if that means M3 will come stock with the M2i geometry though that would be cool.

  8. Today I learned warrior protective equipment was used in the league as late as the 2015-2016 season.

Justin Peters using some Ritual pants at the start of that season (switched to bauer when he was sent down to Hershey later that year)

Lots of goalies switching to white based gear again this year. Can't find the article anymore but I could've sworn I saw somewhere that the 22-23 season had the lowest average save percentage in almost 2 decades so that could be a factor.

Well what're the odds of that happening lol

Tried it on at my LHS today.  It feels amazing - had a Bauer 960 on right before it and while that felt good too, the Nest-Tech was immediately noticeable.  Mask felt downright airy. As a goalie who gets super hot every skate, it’s intriguing.  Too bad I don’t need a new mask.  Took a blast from the heaviest shot in our league last week right to the forehead, but my RF1 took it with little issue.  Can’t say there wasn’t a little part of me that was hoping for a crack.

How's it fit compared to F1? I'm yet to find a mask that fits me around the jaw and cheeks better than F1

Can anyone tell me the model of the pads? the profile looks very thin. not much like what Lefebvre always did

Looks like 20.2. His newer Hzrdus PX stuff is even thinner. Part of the reason they look so thin is they're also huge

I was able to get it somewhat close to as tight as I would like it but it does leave a lot of velcro exposed. There is only about 20% of the velcro tab attached and the rest hangs off which I worry will get caught up on my jersey or come undone during play. I may cut the elastic and reattach the buckle so that I am able to get it tighter with less of the velcro tab exposed.

Yup that's basically how I wore mine

I'm never a fan of the sketchbook styled masks. They look beer leaguey

Ever since lehners mask in Buffalo I've been pretty fond of sketchbook style. It's a very good balance of simple and complex and I may do something similar depending on the team I'm on.

Can't find the article anymore but I could've sworn I saw somewhere that the 22-23 season had the lowest average save percentage in almost 2 decades so that could be a factor. I was joking about going all white next season but maybe not anymore if it helps. Having black at the boot and fingertips of my gear definitely highlights the holes below my gloves.

Did you get the straps tight enough with the stock strapping or did you need to mod it? I am 6'3 with a 6'5 arm span so the body fits great but I still feel the arms to be a tad long. Maybe it is just because I haven't dialed in the strapping yet to get it tight enough and the forearms are a bit beefier than my P1 so they seem to interfere with my gloves more. Perhaps when I figure it out they won't feel too long.

I'm 5'11" with a 6'1" wingspan and large doesn't bother me currently. I can't remember if G2 used a different size chart though because I think it might have considering I used a medium G2. I didn't have to modify mine but there was more velcro exposed than I would've liked.
