Dallas should also switch to the same colors as the Cowboys too.
Absolutely not (ignoring the fact then they'd be the same colors as the mavericks too). Do we really want another team in the NHL that's just blue and white?

Talking Warrior, it's cool and funny to see that quote on the cuffs. It would of been cool and appropriate to see that on Warrior gear.
I can make that happen

What are these replacing?
Nothing. It's a third line of gloves. There will be no matching pads

Did the g6 have that awful below knee break?
I Know the g4 did and make u land on the top of the block when in the down position.
the g5 was the retail pricepoint model was fine for the first year and half then the break got soft and had the same problem.
Stock G6 had the stiff/medium one piece core option which meant no break but still a little flexible below the knee.

I think Warrior may have stopped taking custom orders until G7 is released. The G6 customizer has been completely removed from their site

What were your FTK or ATK and height measurements?
Looking at ordering a set but I'm trying to verify sizing. There isn't much in terms of stores in my area.
I'm 5'7" with a 19" FTK and coming from 32" GNETIK V. I'm leaning towards small at the moment.
I'm 5'11" and have a 19.25 ftk. Small fits me great! 32+1 Brian's Iconik was spot on for me too
Gave the pads and blocker their last try today. The pads just don't move with me like my G6 set and the mach blocker feels a little bottom heavy after using the G6.1 for so long. This set will be up for sale soon

Is there anyway to replicate a 580 without trying on a 580? Unfortunately I do not have access to a store or a fellow goalie who has a 580 and I want to give a vapor 90 a try. I’m currently using a Mach and can catch alright with it but still don’t like the closure and I tried back on my G5 and it feels a lot better closure and break in the palm feel.
I know it’s more personal preference but is the 580 worth switching too or is it just the new hotness? Can’t decide between the vapor 90 or just going with a ln off the shelf vapor glove.
Do not buy a vapor 60 degree glove. They very rarely break in properly and have the tendency to break the center palm plastic just like the original hyperlite. If you like warrior gloves, especially G5, it's very hard to find something similar. I've been struggling with that but have had good luck with G6.0 currently and Gnetik gloves in the past

So I got my set back in the spring and I ordered it with a 600 break glove.
Build quality is great on the 600 and closure is good but I just could not adjust to the glove break or pocket positioning from my old Brian's Gnetik glove. One game would be perfect and then the next I would be brutal with it. So decided to place an order for a 590 and 4 weeks later she showed up today!
Looking forward to getting on the ice next week.
Let us know how it goes! Gnetik is always a hard glove to transition out of

Yea, when playing for his Red Bull team he's wearing a Warrior C/A. Same with Warrior pants.
With Germany, he's wearing Bauer pants and a much smaller C/A. I highly doubt it's a Warrior unit.
I think the chest is still warrior but possibly something unique. The shoulder and elbow floater shape is the same as a Pro+ unit. Also that's a Bauer pants shell. Too loose at the bottom on the left side

At some point very recently saros was experimenting with bauer sticks (via pro stock hockey). The mach stick is the only one of his left. His HL2s and ag5nts skinned as HL2s were gone within an hour. I have one of the machs on order because it should be identical to my ccm pro stocks in height and curve.
Seeing these sticks pop up makes me wonder if there's a full saros HL2 set out there somewhere

Pro+ and E+ are the same styled design, as are the Pro and E.
You'll just get the Hypercomp (carbon fiber enhancement) with each respective Pro version that will improve the protection.
Saying that, I've been in the Senior (not pro) version of Warrior knee pads that they used to hand out with their leg pads and have had zero complaints. I play upper beer league and don't rely on them to make saves, but they're there, comfortable, and plenty protective for the odd times that they are needed.
Warrior makes good knee pads and I'd have zero hesitations going that route.
I'd go with the slimmer option myself as it's what I'm currently using and I don't need the bulk.
From my understanding E+ is the original warrior style with the segmented thigh and sort of narrow profile (for warriors).
Even if you don't necessarily need the Pro protection it's worth the upgrade because of the thicker knee landing foam and the use of Nash on the knee landing to prevent slipping instead of nylon
It does take a little bit to break any of the models in but as you use them they will get narrower and the elastic will get softer but not necessarily looser.

Looked like a 120 degree boot, so not exactly Bauer's softest.
True but it would have a larger gap of soft foam if it's the soft build

As per usual the comments are losing their minds and shitting on bauer quality even though this has only happened to Bauer twice ever at the pro level. I've seen it happen to both ccm and brians in 18u and juniors. The cost of having a flexible boot break is having that gap or soft foam to allow it to bend and not support the face enough

That's exactly how the leg pads are currently constructed?
The back of smith's G7 thigh rise is nylon. My G6 is jenpro

Most of my wear on my GT2's were in the weave areas. But those were also in the generally high wear areas anyways. The only jenpro wear was on the T of my glove and that's due to me pushing my hands together as I set for a play coming my way.
I'm sure the wear on the boot risers has more to do with your Konekts than anything. I had zero wear on my risers on my GT, GT2, and G5 sets.
There's no regular jenpro wear on my set anywhere it's just in the weave spots.
Really hoping warrior ditches the jenpro on the back of the thigh rise since it seems to cause more wear to the inside top corners than the nylon did

Aside from the boot risers being busted to shit, that's decent wear for the amount you use 'em.
I still think a lot of it comes from the weave not being as durable as the standard jenpro. The boot risers themselves are fine it's just the padskinz I put over them has gotten obliterated

I completely agree with this as do my goalie coaches. My head coach however can't make up his mind between being annoyed at me for standing up on the post for dead angle shots and telling me that rvh and vh are ruining my game and causing goals
