  1. That would be very strange if it was thinner since I think that's still an Axis 2 blocker and glove
  2. I had the same issue after only a season of use with my one pieces a few years ago. After sending them to True twice to be repaired True deemed them unfixable, sent them back to me, and asked if I wanted a new pair of one piece or two pieces skates free of charge. Ended up opting for the two piece skates. I never was able to fix my one pieces and ended up selling them for cheap.
  3. I can't imagine it's worse than X4/X3. My HL wasn't too bad.
  4. I have an X3 Pro+ and I agree with all of those however this unit is super heavy compared to any other retail unit and from my experience runs pretty hot. Looking forward to Mach later this week
  5. Currently skating on bladetech DLC steel and its very close to step quality imo https://bladetechhockey.com/products/black-diamond-dlc-steel-for-all-skate-models
  6. Fixed it for ya lol It's a neat car but I simply don't have room or time to make it worth having. I'd need to hold on to my outback simply because it's wonderful on road trips and can seat more than the brat. Plus that brat is missing the most important reason to buy a brat
  7. It runs but needs fuel pump and who knows what else. Plus only 73hp isn't exactly ideal for Texas highways. It should get better mpg than my 2003 outback though. Body and seats are pretty rough but doesn't appear too bad otherwise https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/329546619514066/?mibextid=dXMIcH
  8. I am considering making a large financial mistake
  9. I feel like the airslide channels lost their purpose once they stiffened up the sliding surface. Guessing no changes to the gloves and blockers?
  10. G7 has almost fully departed from the warrior style as far as leg pads go. No airslide, no 360 leg channel, and no sling wrap straps.
  11. It appears M3 will come stock with the M2i shaft geometry. The graphic seems to highlight the unique shape
  12. Gorsuch in the ECHL using a Warrior R/M3 skinned stick. The shaft geometry looks more like M2i. No idea if that means M3 will come stock with the M2i geometry though that would be cool.
  13. Jet Greaves in an Axis XF bucket. Not sure why his pads look so narrow
  14. Today I learned warrior protective equipment was used in the league as late as the 2015-2016 season. Justin Peters using some Ritual pants at the start of that season (switched to bauer when he was sent down to Hershey later that year)
  15. Well what're the odds of that happening lol
  16. How's it fit compared to F1? I'm yet to find a mask that fits me around the jaw and cheeks better than F1
  17. I am suddenly no longer interested in sketchbook style masks
  18. Looks like 20.2. His newer Hzrdus PX stuff is even thinner. Part of the reason they look so thin is they're also huge
  19. Ever since lehners mask in Buffalo I've been pretty fond of sketchbook style. It's a very good balance of simple and complex and I may do something similar depending on the team I'm on.
  20. Lots of goalies switching to white based gear again this year. Can't find the article anymore but I could've sworn I saw somewhere that the 22-23 season had the lowest average save percentage in almost 2 decades so that could be a factor. I was joking about going all white next season but maybe not anymore if it helps. Having black at the boot and fingertips of my gear definitely highlights the holes below my gloves.
  21. I'm 5'11" with a 6'1" wingspan and large doesn't bother me currently. I can't remember if G2 used a different size chart though because I think it might have considering I used a medium G2. I didn't have to modify mine but there was more velcro exposed than I would've liked.
  22. Ah there's the difference. I hated GT2 lol. Felt terrible to me in store and the added torsional flex to an already very flexible G4 pad felt rough. Never could get the thigh rise anywhere near the ice with GT2. I also agree the down to the calf strapping on G6 feels off. For that reason my knee strap is attached to the inner wrap. I feel like the stiffer calf wrap was definitely a miss and I could see why it felt awful with the wide calf wrap option because it wouldn't bend like previous pads. I avoided this issue by getting the narrow option . Basically all the issues you had I avoided by changing strapping or via custom specs.
  23. I agree the blocker is the weakest part but I've gotten used to it and while I don't prefer it to Mach I can finally put them at equal. You know you could just wear G6 like G3 and G4 right? You don't have to use the calf wrap slots, the inner strap is removable and it comes stock with the wide calf wrap. That said I absolutely love the new strapping specifically because it makes the pads play like my super tight fit ccms did. Plus if you go for a full Mach set you'd have to leave the unmentioned group ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
