TheGoalNet
I think about that all the time too i have seen Butt Endz popping up everywhere on IG and Gretzky endorsed Taci-Mac grips (or something like that) in the early 90s Cheap 90s pads had nylon straps with quick release buckles. It gave the tech a bad name and no one promoted it as weight savings. Brian's remarkets the concept with elastic and it's a hit...

TheGoalNet
The double T is another example. My Cooper in the early 90s had one. TPS used them in the mid 90s and they're just becoming dominant now

Hills
I don't understand the 1 piece calf/knee wing. For one thing it isn't NHL legal so... yeah I understand we aren't Pros but I still don't see the benefit of it.

Hills
Why is it more responsive than a modern 2 piece interpretation?

Hills
Are you talking about your knee wing (part you land on) flapping in the wind?

Hills
What pad were you using before that had that wing flapping? On the majority of newer pads that entire section is firm and doesn't really push outward anymore, I believe it started with the Warrior G2s but it is on all the pads I have looked at recently.
