V8 vs SLR2 pant

hi guys 

i lost 15pound and the great news about it is i have buy new goalie pants YEAH ! i wear my chest outside without any suspender and i read the V8 or V9 pants could be fine for me but i dont see anywhere anyone talk about the SLR2 , fit is similar ?

no store have any large V8 in store now only small

As far as I am aware, the main difference is that the SLR2 has an internal belt and the VE8 Pro Carbon pants do not. Otherwise, they are mostly the same pant.

So I have tried on the V8 chesty with V8 pants and that line is designed for the goalie who prefers not to tuck, I have also tried on the SLR line which is designed for a goalie who does like to tuck. Now, just because the line is designed that way doesn't mean you can't mix and match. The fits are based off of height and waist size so each manufacturer has a matrix that cross references height and waist size and how the equipment performs is up to how you modify the straps and belts to work for your game. i can have some warrior ritual x2pro pants with a 30% discount ... those type of pant can be good if i want to not tuck my C/a ?

Any Ritual pants are design to be able tuck or no tuck.

I'm useing Warrior Ritual for couple years now and I don't tuck - they've been always great.

the biggest difference i can think of is that the SLR2 has an inner belt, whereas the ve8 doesn’t. i guess if you do tuck your chesty the ve8 would make it easier to do that
