I broke my EF4 stick, so I dismembered it for science.

Broke my stick at pick up a week ago. So I had someone chop it up for me.

Above is a picture of the shaft internals. The far end is the butt end.

is that foam around the rod or some other filler material? EF4 = composite or foam core?
