This is the replacement for GNetik.
I would NOT place too much stock in what we see a pro wearing right now... could be existing player spec with the new graphics.
Independently, new glove / blocker line coming tooSo they’ll have Optik-full set, Iconik/Gnetik-full set, and a third set of gloves?

It's ok, @A.YOUNGoalie13 will come here trying to push his 80lbs of muscle around and tell everyone how much better being a Southpaw is in your defense.
He's wrong, but at least you'll have a rabid defender.
Thats 160 to you sir
Oh, and be sure to mention my height, that is, of course, if you can see up that high

Would take speed skin at the moment, ice has not been the best. See humidity in Chicago in the summer, so I am hesitant to cast that statement in concrete.
Ice has been terrible at almost every rink

True. Still not entirely sure how he broke that but it is what it is
Yeah some of that story didn’t add up to me

Also didn't hate the set including the 591 which the owner had broken in to be just as soft as my warrior glove. CCM's new gloves definitely don't deserve the hate they get in all honesty. Leg pads were alright not great. Definitely prefer my warriors and bauer pads
Maybe the customs come in better than off the shelf. He did however have to fix the plastic in the back of the tee on all 3 that he got.

Well known tgn member and charity case @ThatCarGuy pictured here using somebody elses gear… Again! Man this guy needs to just pick a set and stick to it

The torch will be passed one day kiddo. I'm just glad your youthfulness hasn't clouded you from your future.
People have always told me I’m wise beyond my years: I’m really just being real with myself that I too one day will be an old shitty beer leaguer trying to explain to kids how I used to be good and that I know way more about gear than them. Not saying anyone here does any of that but a good ego stroke never hurts

It's @A.YOUNGoalie13, I'm sure he's used to being constantly embarassed.
Imagine being a southpaw/
Imagine being a short old dude making fun of teenagers online… Couldn’t be me!!! (in 20 years it will be)
Shoutout to @ThatCarGuy for making my gear look 10x cooler just by putting his warriors next to them!

I agree. I ordered a Vapor 90 from Bauer this year. I was salty I could not get the Mach internals on the Vapor 90 glove. I am gonna just ignore the wrist strap when it comes in.
I was glad we could at least get the mach grip print though

Take as long of a break as your mind tells you to. If you start to miss it and you want to get back out there then do it. If your break feels great and you don’t really miss playing even when you’re thinking hockey or watching it, etc, then your mind is making another decision for you. Do what your mind decides!

I do this but my suspenders go under under my chesty and then I just tie my chesty to my pants which you can do either way I guess

Just an fyi the 8k was not a pro model. It was 6k for the lowest senior model and 8k was a step up. The 6k felt like cardboard and may have been okay for ball hockey. I'm sure the 8k may have been okay for inline but they had a pro model on top of all that that would have been much more appropriate for ice. I used 6k pads for inline and they only lasted because I had slide plates on them. They did turn into Vaughn pads after a few years. So squishy. Hope everthing works out.
All of the lines are designed for ice?…

Anyone looking for knee pad "sleeves" to wear under your regular knee pads, Mcdavid has these reversible ones on sale for way less than the solids and the overall sleeve is the exact same product. I just ordered a pair and can't wait to give them a try!

As someone who also just switched from a life long 590 guy for the most part, my biggest adjustment has been finding the pocket. I’m very used to where the pocket of a 590 sits in my stance and butterfly, so I’ve been taking a lot of shots to the fingers and palm on the Vapor 90. For sure something you have to get used to with time since the pocket is so high up.
