    I'm still an advocate that colour has no place on retro tan gear. These aren't so bad, but the ones that have them intertwined into the face of the pad just looks awful. EX:

    He was spotted training in a caps practice jersey a few times. His custom designed pads were unveiled, but no images of them after being made. He had his mask design released as well.

    Doesn't look too different than the current G5 offerings. And those elbow floaters would be too wide for NHL legal.

    +1 Both iterations of the GT glove have felt better than the Ritual line. Even the blockers. But the leg pads are just a slightly more malleable Ritual bad. Only brand that has less differentiation between their lines is Bauer. It's disappointing that Warrior will be abandoning the GT line as I find their gloves excellent. Even the very unpopular GT1 glove.

    From talking to a Warrior ambassador in the summer, apparently Warrior won't be continuing the GT line. This just may be the outcome of the RX2 replacing the GT line moving forward.

    I wouldn't go through too many cages either if the shooters I was up against couldn't lift the puck. I think I've gone through 5 cages in the past 6 years. Though I'm generally very ready to replace a cage the second it gets dented.

    True, but everyone back in July was faring a lot better than they are now. Winter or not. They're also Ocean locked, which comes with distinct advantages. Not saying that Australia isn't doing it better, but there are other things to consider instead of looking at it on a strict comparison.

    Keep in mind too that they're in the middle of summer. Stricter rule sets plus the ability to go outside for stretches at a time do help push those numbers down. Australia's numbers were high when they were in the middle of winter as well.
