@breaklouis35
BC Canada here. We have an average daily infection rate of 100 people per day. Or 237 per 100,000 people. The provinces hit the worst are Quebec and Ontario and they're at 1,102 and 462 respectively per 100,00 people.
To put that in perspective, our worst areas are lower than the lowest state of Pennsylvania which is 1,425 per 100,000 people. You guys suck at this.
My two leagues I play in have slightly different rules on the ice, but the before and after is the same:
- Masks on when waiting outside and when walking inside
- dressings rooms only available 15/20 min before and after each game
- No masks required on the ice
- One league has kept the rules the same but just no changing ends and only 10 skaters each side
Other league has a few more rules:
- Faceoffs but no wingers or defenseman can enter the circle till the puck exits it first.
- Floating blue line
- Only one penalty can be served, any other penalties during that time are penalty shots
- 13 skaters per side
- And these stupid assed dividers:
End of the day, I've been playing 1-2 times a week since June and there hasn't been a single case transmitted at any of the arenas I've gone to (4 total).
I'm not worried, but again, I'm in an area where the virus is mostly an afterthought due to the low transmission rates as everyone here isn't retarded. Most people wear masks out and about regardless, social distancing is followed, yadda yadda.
