  1. Those look awesome! Are you using the stock bungee toe ties?
  2. You're also able to shuffle on ice. That is one thing which is impossible in inline because of higher friction and you having separate wheels rather than a single blade.
  3. I've seen 4 goalies maybe once at a pickup. The most I've usually seen is 3 at a Sunday evening pickup at a rink where that is the main hockey attraction, but I've more often been either the 2nd or only goalie at pickup sessions.
  4. I have a pair of Bauer 2S Pros available for US$380 plus shipping. They are a size Large (equivalent to a 35+1). They kick out hard rebounds and are pretty good at sliding. I also have a pair of Ultrasonics for US$550 plus shipping in the same size. I haven't listed the Ultrasonics yet, but I intend to do so soon. Sliding on the Ultrasonics is seriously otherworldly. Slides that took some effort to perform with the 2S Pros are very smooth. With the Ultrasonics, I have to focus on stopping. Let me know which one you are interested in, and I can send out pics to you.
  5. I have a pair of 35+1 (Large) 2S Pro pads in good condition that I am selling because they are too small. I have upgraded the pads with ProLaces. They have very hot rebounds (I have literally had shots go off them to the blue line) and good sliding ability. The only pad that slides better than them is my new L Ultrasonic pair. These pads sell for $380 US plus shipping. If you are in the DC area, you will not have to pay shipping. In that case, PM me to arrange local pickup.
  6. They're nice. A little heavy, but are good for stopping pucks and for puckhandling.
  7. https://passauhockey.com/en/boutique/equipement/ensemble-complet-starke-en-stock-noir/ This is what I mentioned. Very odd. No other company I have looked at has this.
  8. I get it. However, it is odd to see that Passau mentions that there could be production delays for full right gloves.
  9. Do full right gloves affect custom production time? I only saw warnings on Passau's website about full right equipment causing production delays.
  10. That's great for him. Maybe he can parlay his time in the Fed into an ECHL contract.
  11. Try using a more standard format, such as .jpg, .jpeg, or .png. That way, it will be easier for people to see your photos.
  12. I noticed. Sliding was a lot easier on my 1S Od1n pads than on my 2S Pros.
  13. That's good to know. If the Supremes both slide better and have harder rebounds than Vapors, I'll use Supremes.
  14. I have one that's like new. PM me for pics.
  15. About the M5, how often can they be used and not wear out prematurely? I'm asking, because I sometimes play up to 6 days a week, counting both ice and ball hockey.
  16. Aren't you thinking of Battram? I heard that Battram was the one who was more involved in copying other companies' stuff.
  17. Hopefully the Onezee creator is not such a strange character as Jonathan Kozac.
  18. I haven't seen it yet, but I did see The Thin Red Line's video. It's an interesting concept, but not well thought out. There is strange, but I can understand why the Kozac cut did not catch on.
  19. You have to be at least a little weird to play in net. Glenn Hall barfed before every game - and he has the record for most consecutive games played in NHL history and pioneered the butterfly save, together with Tony Esposito. Jacques Plante was the first goalie to permanently don a mask, and he also had a few screws loose. Heck, Patrick Roy talked to his posts. I have Asperger's and thank my posts and crossbar for making saves.
  20. I play both ice and ball hockey. This means that I might be playing up to 6 days a week when I'm not busy with school or refereeing. I don't know how long M5s will take that. This is why I have mostly worn used pro-level pads.
  21. This looks awesome. If it works well, I might buy a used Mach set later, or else save up to buy a Mach 2 when that comes out.
  22. I've never heard of the skin on pads breaking in, but it makes sense. Gloves and skates also need to break in for optimal performance.
