I just heard the dumbest interaction on the Sirius XM NHL channel. Guy calls in with a question:
-how is it possible that Jack Eichel is gonna win a Cup before McDavid?
-that's easy, because he's on a better team.
-but don't you think McDavid is better? He's way better than Eichel.
-yeah, I do. 100% .
-oh.
You're a brave man for subscribing to XM radio.

Have the wheels fallen off for the cats? Bobo on the bench, down 4-0 and chasing their tails right now. Man Hill sure is looking strong.
Hill's paddle save in Game 1 must have broken their spirit

Absolutely love this weird lobster claw glove. Decided to go for the 6.1 blocker and 6.0 glove. Not sure how I feel about some other specs I picked but I’ll have to try them on ice

Everyone, please make sure to send Chenner as many site improvement suggestions via PM as you can.
He loves reading everyone's input.
There's a joke here I can make about your mom but I'll refrain

I actually don’t hate this (assuming it’s protective which is a long shot). Felt very comfy when I tried it on and didn’t notice the back plate too much. That said the backplate does look stupid and I have no way to confirm or deny if it keeps you any cooler. Sternum is probably still too hard to absorb rebounds.
IMO - the last thing I've ever complained about on chest/arms units is the backplate. Not sure why they chose to devote the time/engineering/capital here when the protection level in the arms of their retail units has always been lacking.
They really should just bring the AB18Pro to retail and be done with it.

I did look at this and im 70inches arm span. which fit both medium and large.
From what I recall trying one of these on years ago, these fit pretty big. I would have gone with a medium and I’m 5’11. Don’t know my arm span offhand

I got a large Warrior Ritual X3 E+ Senior Goalie Chest & Arm Protector and not sure if its too big/bulky for me or I just need to break it in.
I used it for the first time on ice today and the arms are about 1-2inches too long and as it definitely interferes with my glove. Blocker hand is better but not ideal. When I sat down i couldnt even lift the towel over my head .I havent had a new chest protector in 15 years so dont know if all of this is normal or not. Do I need a smaller size? What's your arm span? This is a sizing chart from GoalieMonkey, I'm guessing you should be in a medium

Sounds like we’ve got similar melon shapes - narrow in the cheeks. You’ve already hit on Protechsport. They are probably one of the more cost effective “custom options” (with lead times being prohibitive for some). Coveted too. If you’ve got confusion on Coveted’s offering - best to probably reach out to them direct. I know many have championed their customer service. You can also look at Warwick, Defender and/or Pro’s Choice. Not sure if Shark is still hanging out there. I can only speak to Pro’s Choice as I have (3) of them. Quality mask and you deal with the quality builder himself if you reach out so if you have any questions there - shoot and I’ll do my best. I’m sure others will chime in as well. Happy hunting.
I'm another Pro's Choice fan. He's probably the most expensive option on the list but the product is worth it IMO.

I had been kicking around the design in my head for about three years, wavering from an original idea of something phalanx related on what was to look like an impure marble block morphed into the stained glass. The next mask will be something very mecha in nature.
Should compare notes with @ZeroGravitas - he’s secretly a Gundam fan

I forgot to follow up on this. Got it back and got to use it in a victorious playoff game last night. Mr. GoalieCustomizer was great to work with, I'll be sending another his way come July.
Beauty of a mask, love the stained glass - very unique

Agreed, the steeper thumb angle is much better on the Lefebvre. Plus I think they present much better.
Same here, my hand feels locked in to a handshake position on a Bauer 580.
The Lefevre gloves seem more ergonomically friendly. The hand is pitched slightly backward and there is more separation between forearm and blocking surface cuff. -

Absolutely adore the shape of the bauer over the true/ccm 580. Much more linear and not the stupid L shape like True and CCM
Take that back, I love my stupid L shape gloves

MEAN.
Here's the set.
Vapor 90 vs True 580.
Note the differences in the shape of the cuff, steepness of the thumb, location of the tee, shape of the fingers/palm.
Also the cuff angle against your forearm, we didn't get a pic of this.
The Lefevre flares forward on the thumb side whereas the Bauer does not.
Hand position in the Lefevre felt slightly tilted back, gave glove a more open feel

Thinking I might order V3s in 26 with rounded shoulders since it lines up nicely next to my Saros sticks
I would go down to 24” rounded if they made them in Senior

@MangoRhinehart your response from Ace was supposed to read "Who needs a house? LOL...good luck with your home purchase. Any takers for this helmet? Willing to listen to reasonable offers. ... "This is what happens when you leave upkeep of the BB to your minions
