  1. Editing such a big block out would be easy anyway. Select start marker, select end marker, delete.
  2. That was my biggest problem with the Brians also, I found them to be way too long.
  3. I have guys that say they're going to but nobody ever actually has. You don't really need your phone, just let it run. Should have more than enough battery for a game and should be no problem for longer pickups as well.
  4. It's SO unlikely, and GoPros can seriously take an absolute beating. If you're really worried, just put them on the outside of the glass instead.
  5. Yea thats what I'm looking for, but I want the specs on type, size, etc so I can buy bulk elsewhere.
  6. Figured id start a generic thread for glove re-lacing questions/photos/etc. Let me start off by asking you guys: What is the correct cord to use for the pocket if I wanted to try that instead of skate lace? I know PAW sells it but she doesn't have the color I want so I figured since it's probably just some specific size of generic cord I should be able to find it elsewhere. Thanks!
  7. You're the second person today to tell me about negative feedback. That's surprising, they were well regarded on GGSU when they first came on the scene. I wonder what happened. I don't use HAL anymore, I use the pro bridge (where the cord is laced into your skate and you use a tab in a velcro toe bridge). Great for fat guys like me. Prior to that I used to attach my pads to my skates before putting my skates on... lol.
  8. Okay so they just put a lot of extra slack on there. Makes sense.
  9. Yea that was the first question I had.. how does it stretch if its sewn in? I'm guessing the shock cord is stitched in and the lace just floats (and is JUST long enough to barely go inside the jenpro, but only to the stitch line). I'm a bit surprised the stitching holds the cord in so well though. Also, it seems like there's no good way to adjust the length yourself. That's one thing I definitely like about the Monster version. Looking at their site I'm honestly shocked to see so many pros wearing these. I thought they were all still wearing laces.
  10. A couple things stand out for me. First, the lack of rubber on the back attachment. That always seems to be the bit that goes (and one of the reasons I went to Brown). I'm also a big fan of the way they attach at the front, allowing for quick release when getting undressed, but also not having to get your C/A arms under them which can be awkward.
  11. If I was going to wear my suspenders over my C/A, I'd be buying the Monsters. Since I still wear them underneath, I'm sticking to Brown.
  12. Their FB says they added a waxed lace cover over it for better wear resistance. I'd never seen their product before until now. Looks like a HAL strap. The part I don't quite understand is how its going to stretch with a lace covering it, unless the lace itself isn't attached at the velcro end? It makes sense, since my HAL strap cord is definitely getting worn from rubbing between the ice and the cowling.

The folks over at Brian’s must be smiling.
  14. I don’t think they’re meant for protection so much as just some extra padding. You should still be wearing knee pads.
  15. I just wish you could buy small sheets of it for various uses. Eg. insoles, adding padding to CA, replacing inner thigh padding in pants, etc. Also to be able to cut shapes for masks instead of being stuck with strips.
  16. Well maybe Maltese needs to make a full shirt!
  17. If it goes up the neck at all, I'd be out. Would probably interfere with my neck guard.

I saw those a few weeks ago. Terrible graphics. Anyway, can anyone tell me if the length of CCM pants changes when the waist size changes? I seem to recall that with Warrior, the inseam stays the same regardless of what waist size you wear. I'm in Bauer Supreme pants now, size L, and they're a bit tight and I've been thinking of going to an XL but concerned about the length. I also don't like the floating belly flap thing on the outside and want a pair of pants where the padding is on the INSIDE.
  19. What do you mean? I use the GRIT because I like the wheels and like even more the ability for each item to have its own space. Keeps me from forgetting anything The Passau bag is for travel since I needed something the leg pads would fit in. It was either this, or a huge wheeled bag that is about the same price.
  20. When you say "BB Cloud", are you referring to IPB's hosted service? Based on the error message, I would point to that as being the issue. You wouldn't get a reply at all if it was the domain host, but I was getting a 503 at one point which is a server issue.
  21. Holy crap! It’s massive, yet still comfortable. Love the skate pockets. The mask pocket is a bit on the large side but that’s fine.
  22. C/A: Passau Pants: Bauer Supreme How do I wear it? Pants tight, suspenders, C/A over top untucked. Any issues? None that I can tell.
