Can anyone who tucks take a picture of your setup?
I want to try but everytime I do it at home it seems like I can't figure it out.
Guys wearing the ventus/SLR line of pants would be preferred.
Cheers.
I can grab one tomorrow. I just lace my pants (CCM HPG12 Pro Returns) into the nylon belly tab (top 2 eyelets). I had @Ross make me up a fight strap for the back of my GT Pro C/A and I run that thru the loop on my pants. Then I run my suspenders under the floaters. Everything is tight and feels like 1 unit

@AMDG As for invisible structural issues, that's something that no one can predict. But the guy who built your mask will be able to tell for sure if it's got any issues.
As for expiry dates on masks, it's like a lot of other things out there including car seats. They don't expire per se but the liability for company in the event of a failure is absolved.
I would highly recommend changing the foam (either thru Michel or if you want DIY EcoProFoam and Resilient Foam are 2 options). Then it's really up to you about a new lid

No. But does the padding change the integrity of the mask?
No... But padding is essential for impact distribution. Michel will refurb it for you. Have him double check the shell as well

Shell integrity is the big thing. Have you had it refurbished or repadded since purchase?

I probably already asked this, but you bake the Speed plates and leave the skate cold or bake the whole thing?
When I got mine done they did both in the same skate oven. I specifically asked for it tho as my X900s are new to me and I had never baked them prior

Just wanted to say great call on the speed plates. After baking the skates and the insoles they are the most comfortable skates I’ve had on my feet.
It's crazy isn't it?

I was actually looking into those today. I usually use the high arch ccm footbeds but the speed plates looked interesting. Anyone know if there’s a difference between the originals and the new ones?
I had medium CCM footbeds spin my previous reactors and then moved them to my X900s. My feet were killing me. The cowlingless skates have a different pitch. Zero issues since moving the speed plates.
as for the differences:

Just pulled the trigger on a pair of 1x skates off sideline swap. They looked to be in decent shape with new steel and at the price I figured I may as well give this whole cowlingless deal a shot. Hopefully these work out as I seem to be chasing the perfect skates lately and it’s been going poorly.
I would highly recommend investing in Bauer speed plates for them. You can get the insoles and skates baked at the same time. Since I did that with my X900’s they’re the best skates I’ve ever owned

If you look up resilient foam on Facebook you'll see the foams that coveted uses. It's mostly EVA foam, including some dual-density stuff

I had an identity problem. Also have a set of 1X vapor pads. Because I use my money wisely...
Another set I'd love to demo. And SLR2s.
If those pulse ones were 33, I'd be tempted to make you an offer

Wow, that's alot. John's original design came from my Duluth trading suspenders when I brought them in to get new pants.
$20 and am going on 10 years with zero problems.
I've heard nothing but great things about the Duluth ones. I thought kova was pretty high priced.
@Snowman30 can you post a pic of the attachment points?

Is it the quick release part or just the better quality you're looking for? Fixmygear.com has some heavy duty ones I've been looking at. Or at the very least you can source some Jenpro and shock cord and make your own. I have the older monster model and they're functional but nothing to write home about in terms of build quality
Topi replied to me today:
Custom suspenders cost 60USD and tracked shipping is 15USD. If you want to order them, just tell me what color do you want the leather parts, and what embroidery you would like

So I guess they weren’t just gloves for someone’s CCM pads... If you go to the post, Scott has some interesting answers...
